This is such an adorable little cottage! The view of the creek from the backyard was pristine and the owners were so easy to work with. This had everything we needed for a weekend stay. My only complaint was that I couldn’t pull my husband away from the Nintendo. Thank you for letting us stay!
A wonderful spot for a family vacation. Biking, hiking and fishing adventures all nearby. Badminton games on the lawn and dinner on the patio with family. Can't wait to go back!
it was exactly what we needed, decent size living space with a beautiful backyard and a nice deck to take it all in. our stay gave us exactly what we needed for our short pass through town. quiet, safe, and welcoming
We were so impressed with our stay and Lauren's home. It was nicer than the pictures showed and was lovely waking up to the creek in the backyard. Will stay there again when we go to visit family.
The property was beautiful. The rooms in the house were a little tight, but for our purpose it was fine. The location allowed us to easily get out and explore the area.
The house was great, well stocked and very clean. Loved the jacuzzi. Owners provide lots of little thoughtful extras, such as, coffee, jacuzzi towels and slides for walking out to hot tub.
My husband and I stayed at Lauren's home for 3 nights. It was just as she had described - cozy, clean and comfortable. And thanks for the wonderful treats you left - chips and salsa, cookies, muffins... so thoughtful. We loved the hot tub after a day of skiing! It is about 30 minutes from Red Mountain, but an easy drive up the mountain pass. Thank you!
Really enjoyed our long weekend stay here. The house is adorable. Had everything we needed and more. The backyard, deck and hot tub - all gorgeous, the lighting at night added a warm welcoming ambience.
Beds and bedding were comfy, lots of towels. The kitchen was amazingly equipped with everything you need and an extra “thank you” to our hosts who left us some truly special treats upon arrival, very much appreciated them (especially the Creamo) I can’t do coffee without cream. Not many VRBOs leave such thoughtful treats. THANK YOU. The location of this home was perfect for us as we were in town for a Wedding and the reception hall is a short walk away. It’s a short walk to EVERYTHING in town actually!
Excellent communication too! Loved this little home away from home. Thanks Lauren and family!
My husband and I decided to take our 10m old daughter on our first little family getaway and we chose a great place. We enjoyed the big back yard, stream, and the hot tub (even had a few bear visitors, so just be careful). The kitchen had everything we needed and they were nice enough to even include coffee. Our bed was super comfortable and they included more than enough towels and linens. There was enough room in the spare room to put her pack and play at the foot of the bed (although it was a little tight, we made it work).
The town itself didn't have much, the burger place was closed so we had chinese take out (still good), did some shopping at the General Store (definitely check out that cute place!) and went to Salmo one day to try the beer at Erie Creek Brewery. They were on hand if we needed anything, and very nice. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a few nights getaway in a quiet area :)
Loved the location. Close to family. Place was perfect for the family. Maybe next time we can stay a little longer and enjoy the Hot tub and deck, Thxs
Wow…we stayed at this rental property for 6 days and it was by far one of the most amazing experiences. The property is everything you need if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Lauren and Chris were amazing hosts, friendly and genuine people that made our stay even better. The cold water stream is exactly what you need with the hotter weather. At night, the hot tub and deck with lights has a soothing ambiance to it. The sound of the running stream and the big shady trees make for a great time out in nature. We made so many amazing memories during this stay and this property is somewhere we would come back to visit! Met as starangers and left as friends!!!
Our curling team stayed here while playing in Trail, the house was small but functional, clean and the beds were very comfy. The hot tub was amazing after our games. The host Lauren was responsive and left us some amazing goodies and customized notes. If you are looking for a cozy and cute place to stay this is a great find!
Everything abiut our stay was great. The house was adorable and with a well equipped kitchen.
Lauren was a great host, with clear communication through VRBO and with in the house itself. I appreciated the little touches Lauren left in the house for our stay.

We are a family of three who love to spend our time adventuring, eating good food and enjoying the company of friends and family!
We love sharing our property, it's a little slice of paradise in the West Kootenay. The maple and willow trees in our yard give shade and respite from the hot summers, and create a magical backdrop during the fall and winter! The Beaver Creek is home to lots of creatures, including ducks, river otters, eagles, raccoon, deer and bears!
