We were in Grove for a family reunion. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I as we needed a kitchen to fix food for the reunion. The bed was comfortable and furnishings comfortable. The location was quiet and the view was nice to look at. Unfortunately we didn’t spend much time there!

We drove 7.5hrs to arrive to an unclean cabin. Dirty sheets, dirty towels everywhere. Attempted to contact the host though the “contact host” feature in the app but got no response, only AI generated responses from the property management group. (Evolve)They did reach out to us the next day and turned the cabin for us & offered a refund for 2 nights & the cleaning fee. Small conciliation for having to sleep in unclean beds & not having clean towels. If you do not message the “host” through the app you will not know how to check in or where the property is because the “get directions” feature in the app takes you to a place in the middle of the road. Only through my own curiosity was I able to find the cabin across a bridge & down a gravel road. Overall the property isn’t bad & the location doesn’t get much better if you are in Grove for a fishing tournament out of Wolf Creek. We’re glad you found the location convenient for your visit to Grove and appreciated the setting. We recently hired a new cleaning partner, and due to a setup issue, they were not receiving notifications for this property, which resulted in the missed cleaning. We take full responsibility for this oversight and regret that it impacted the start of your stay. We also wish we had been made aware sooner, as we would have arranged for the cabin to be cleaned that same evening. Regarding the directions and communication, we've been working to improve the accuracy of the directions provided to guests. We’re glad we were able to have the cabin serviced the next day and provide a partial refund, though we understand this did not fully make up for the inconvenience. Thank you for sharing your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience moving forward.

This place was nice with brand new comfortable beds and fully furnished kitchen. Had a quite relaxing outside atmosphere in a rural area overlooking a field with wildlife and wolf creek in the back ground. I recommend this to anyone that is ready to relax, fish, read, etc.

It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. It feels like a secluded cabin, but yet you are only minutes from the downtown shopping. Even though there is another cabin on the property a short distance away, it was still peaceful. Would recommend.

Great cabin!

Very nice cabin with great views in a quiet area of Grove. Board games & card games were available and there was also a propane grill and fire pit. The only thing I would say was a slight negative was that it was hard to find and my navigation (iPhone Maps) took me to the house that’s east of the property. The owner saw us and took us the rest of the way.

Cool place but beds smaller than advertised

Finding the cabin was difficult due to lack of directional signage. The beds were a lot smaller than stated. The twin beds were short, my 5’7 sons feet hung a good 6 inches off the edge. The queen beds were more like full size. Other than that the cabin was nice and clean. The views were amazing and plenty of birds come to visit.

We include detailed instructions in the pre-stay email to help guests locate the property. We will review these to see if we need to add further information to help avoid any confusion. - Our queen beds are standard queen mattresses, and the twin bed is a standard twin, not a college twin. The twin mattress is on a daybed with a trundle. We have upgraded the twin mattress to improve our guest's comfort. The owners do all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
