Summary: Beautiful new renovated space- soaring ceiling height in living room, 2 bedrooms, huge en-suite bathroom, unique kitchen design. The house is a great escape from the city while being centrally located. Have a cocktail in the shared courtyard, take advantage of free passes to the boxing club with work out space just down the block. House is located steps from the Lafitte Greenway bike path. Whole Foods is one block away and neighborhood is filled with local restaurants, character and Nola charm.
The Space: This second-story home is unique and beautiful. The living room features high ceilings, a half bath, tons of local art, desk space for working. Full kitchen has custom dine-in table, full stove, fridge, ice maker, and all cooking utensils needed. The bedrooms are shot-gunned, with the first featuring a queen bed and en-suite giant bathroom, beautifully redone with double vanity. Second bedroom has two full beds, both rooms have plenty of closet space and dressers for your belongings. Both bedrooms also have wall mounted televisions.
(Shot-Gun Style homes are the most common style of architecture in New Orleans. It means that you must walk through one bedroom to get to the next.)
Guest Access: You will have exclusive access to the whole second-story apartment. The beautiful courtyard below with built-in-bar is a shared space with a long-term tenant, owner, and possible other guests in a different house. If you have additional guests and are interested in booking the downstairs 4-bedroom unit, please inquire!
The Neighborhood: We love living in Mid-City! Vibrant, full of character and lots of local restaurants. It is very walkable, or a less then 10 minute drive to the French quarter and other tourist attractions. The house is right next to a bike path that will take you either to city park or the French quarter, Whole Foods is just a block away. 1/2 block down is a world famous boxing gym (free day passes included in reservation) that also has additional work out equipment for your use. Mid-City has it all, local flavor, while still being centrally located!
Getting Around: There are bike rental kiosks near by, the street car is just a few blocks away. There is also plenty of free street parking, or Uber and Lyft are easy affordable options as well.
Other Things to Note: Per New Orleans City requirements, this contains a decibel monitoring device. The device is located in a common area and not in any bedroom or bathroom.

Comfortable cozy apartment. Close to french quarter
The communication with the property manager was excellent. Nice stay. I would recommend a little bit deep cleaning in the kitchen. The property manager was very responsible for any situation and really liked it.

Thanks for staying with us Kathleen! New Orleans is truly a block to block kind of city, and this spot is right near the street car and great for getting around the city.
A lot of very small issues with the property. Light in the shower was out, towl rack missing from the bathroom wall, a few loose doorknobs and outlts. Overall a nice place and very convienient location.

The house was clean and tidy. Plenty of towels nice sized beds. I just didn't realize it was an up stairs apartment. I try not to book places upstairs when my mom is with me. She has bad knees. Other than that the place Is great.

This two bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms was in great location. We were able to check in early since no one was there the night before. Communication with property management was unbelievably spot on. They contacted us prior to check in, several hours once checked in (to make sure we had everything) and on day of departure. Condo couldn’t have be cleaner. Several restaurants are within walking distance including the French Quarter or Superdome if you are up for a big walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Brenna, Nick and The Kickback Tram made the process effortless. From the accuracy of the property description and surrounding area to the super easy check in. The communication from the hoist went above and beyond. The property is just minutes from the all the activities the French Quarter have to offer. Lots of eateries all around. We were able to attend a festival right up the street and a second line parade up the way in Midtown. The house is very cute and had everything we needed. Please give this host a chance you will not be disappointed. We will definitely rent from this host again.

Clean, cute upper level apartment in a great location right next to the greenbelt walking path. We walked back and forth to my sister’s apt each day - stopping for coffee along the way.The host was VERY responsive for any questions or needs. The outer gate didn’t work 1 morning because the battery had died and he had the manager there within an hour to get it fixed. (We were not locked out because my son was inside and could let us in).The apt looked just like the pictures and had everything you could need.We will be back!!
