Very nice apartment in Glendale

This was a great apartment for our month-long stay in the LA area. The accomodations were very nice and met our needs. In addition to being an excellent base for family and touring activity, it was a good place (with good wifi) for doing the work we also needed to do. The location was terrific. The apartment is in a small building in a residential section of Glendale, so it is pleasant for an urban setting. At the same time, the shopping district of Glendale (including lots of restaurants and a very large mall) are just a few minutes walk away, and so are two grocery stores (in the opposite direction). It is very convenient to the east side of LA proper and to the mountains just to the north of Glendale. Our host Herbert was proactive in inquiring about our needs and eager to meet them. We had some suggestions about some kitchen items that would be good to add, and the following day he arrived with them. He was always accessible at the few times we needed to confer with him.
