Lovely experience, the house is right on the lake with a huge backyard. Excellent value for the price, Rooms are well positioned so noise doesn't travel much, fully stacked kitchen, nice beds, amazing hot tub, and the grocery being 5 minutes away means you can walk there without a car. There is a train that passes by that is a bit loud, but we only had two pass the whole weekend and it lasts about 2-3 minutes. Would happily stay again!
Property met all our needs. Beach was great for our grandson. Beautiful lake perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Close to playground, groceries, restaurants and trails. The house was beautiful with all we needed to cook and enjoy our stay.
We booked a 3 nights stay. The property and its rooms were clean. The host was responsive to our questions and concerns. The lake view was beautiful. Too bad there wasn't any kayak or canoe. There was no nearby boat rental. The hottub was nice and the view from it was good too. A few suggestions for improvement: the bedroom, the shower and the fry pans. Two of the three bedrooms were too far from the washroom, especially if try to go there at night. The mattresses were too soft to sleep on. There was only one shower for all of us. The outdoor shower could not be used for proper cleaning and the bathtub downstairs had no hot water. All of the non-stick fry pans were unusable. Other than these, the property was all what we expected. Despite those small negatives, we all had a relax and good time at the property.Thanks.
The location is ad described with the back yard on the lake. The house/cottage extremely clean with planty of beds for 3 families.
Lcbo and local brewery are on very short distance.
Highly recommended.
Very big backyard for activities (we brought a lot of our own games), 5 minute walk to the grocery store and LCBO in case you forget anything or need to refuel, and the lake is knee deep for quite a long way so great for kids and adults alike. We would definitely come back!
This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice property! The host was very helpful once it was clear they somehow had missed our arrival to arrange for speedy cleanup, access to the property, and compensation. Nice property with access to water (very shallow very far, ideal for small children). Too bad we couldn’t make a fire because of the ban. Old building but nicely renovated. Be ready for at least a train a night that is hard to ignore due to proximity.
We had an excellent time staying in this cottage. There was enough space for everyone. on a beautiful shallow lake, great for young kids. Walking distance into downtown Sundridge with a beach, restaurants, shops, grocery store and a fresh water spring close by to refill drinking water. We would definitely stay again. Only downside was having to take our garbage with us in the end and we were not provided a ticket from the host to drop off at the local dump. Otherwise excellent place for families to stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is very clean, warm, and spacious. Kids enjoyed playing with the very complete collection of board games. Hot tub was also clean and functional. Rhea was professional and responsive and the listing was accurate. In my opinion, however, this rental is a 5 star for summer vacations. In winter, we couldn’t find much outdoor activities close by as the village is small and remote. Another small criticism is lack of basic consumables such as garbage bags and washing machine pills in the cottage. But, overall, our experience was very positive. Thank you Rhea for hosting us.
Charming, relaxing, and almost magical (particularly at night). We immediately felt at home and highly appreciated the little details that the host thought of - stocked with all of the basics as well as fun accessories to use in the lake or playing games inside on rainy days. The cottage was impeccably clean and the property very well kept. Any questions we had were answered quickly and it was clear that the host was committed to us having an excellent stay. The location was phenomenal for our family - immediate access to amenities like the LCBO, Foodland, and Restaurants out our front door with immediate access to a beautiful lake out the back door. The dock area is fantastic and we enjoyed several morning coffees watching the ducks play around in front of us. That same area has a firepit nearby and we loved sharing fires with the kids at night while star-gazing on the dock. All-in-all a 10/10 experience for us. Highly recommend!

"OUTDOOR PARADISE", I don't think so
The cottage, inside, was everything it said, clean comfortable and well stocked. However the outside was very disappointing!
Weeds, rotten wood chairs, etc.
Tremendous potential but needs to be maintained better.
