It appeared as though it was freshly painted and looked lovely. The beds appeared to have new sheets and comforters.Love the appliancesIt was warm on Saturday and we took advantage of the porch overlooking the lake.Suggestion: New chairs around the table would be perfect. the chairs around the kitchen table were wobbly and one was broken.

Thanksgiving stay
This house was exactly what we needed for three families and ten people ages 6 months to 60. We were visiting family in Erie and Corry. We were pleased with the house. Arrived with a light left on for us, heat set to a comfortable temperature and even fresh fall flowers in a vase on the table.
Clean well appointed home with lots of comfy places to sit! Seriously this is a big deal if you plan to do anything other than sleep at a house. Perfect view and location. My only complaint is that it’s so great for large groups (we had 6 and all of us had our own beds and bedrooms- nice!) the word is out and it’s always booked! We’ve stayed at several homes in lakeside since our daughter attends edinboro university and this one is by far our favorite. We wish it was available for graduation weekend but alas it’s already booked. Thank you for the wonderful stays!

Annual Labor Day Gathering
This is the third time we have stayed in this lovely cottage. The cottage was immaculate and smelled wonderful when we arrived. There was even a fresh bouquet of flowers on the table! Everything was in working order and the kitchen is well stocked. The gas grill worked great!

We very much enjoyed our stay-house was very clean and cozy and being on the lake was lovely and peaceful. And our grandkids loved the nearby playscape. It was a perfect setting for our family Thanksgiving.

Quiet place, clean, and right by a small lake. Perfect for a weekend with kids with plenty of other things to access close by. Awesome friendly people in the neighborhood. Great weekend getaway.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside house. We loved that there were 6 beds and 2 bathrooms because everyone had their own space! The view was spectacular, and we really enjoyed sitting in the front room overlooking the lake. This place has everything you could want!
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was very clean and well stocked with a beautiful view of the lake. There were lots of chairs provided for evenings around the fire pit. This was our second time staying here and we are already booked for next year!
House was immaculate and we really enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening! It was very peaceful having coffee in the morning while looking at the lake! We are hoping to come back again next year at this time!
This was absolutely perfect for my family. So close to the lake for swimming and fishing. The neighborhood was so cute and very walkable. We had a great time and will absolutely be coming back.
We love Edinboro went there as kids as our family has been there since 1929. We also lived there for 10 yrs until Grandkids came along. The cottage is perfect, love the view.
This was the perfect spot quite right on the lake. Next time we stay needs to be after may 1st so we can get a boat.
Only down side alot of foot traffic when sitting outside by fire.
The place is next a lake . The scenery is beautiful. Quietly little neighborly town. House fully furnished with everything you could think of. A friend had a headache and there was tylenol. Towels cleaned and placed neatly on the beds. An amazing house. The trip was amazing. Thank you Vrbo
We love this cottage for our 8 friends. It has a view of Edinboro Lake and much light from all the windows. It is all one floor which makes it easy to get around. The kitchen/dining area is conducive to gathering and the openess of the layout makes it easy to see everyone and get around.Last year we suggested to the owner that the chairs around the kitchen table could be a bit more secure and tightened, which he did for us this year. They were also recovered. The only complaint we had this year was that the microwave wasnt cleaned inside. We will be back next year for our 29th year celebration!
Plenty of items in the kitchen if you plan to do your own cooking instead of constantly eating out. I brought a pan just in case and I did not need it. Plenty of extra "real" plates and bowls and glasses so you don't need disposables . There is even a second fridge for leftover pizza boxes and extra drinks! Lots of extra towels and sheets. One of the coolest features is that there is a door that closes off the kitchen dining area from the living area, which is nice if you've got some people that want to sleep or have quiet time (like toddlers taking naps), and other people that might be a little louder or talking. Porch overlooking the lake is really nice. Fire pit in the back overlooking the lake can't be beat. If it's cold, the heater is nice and warm, and the hot water gets pretty hot (but be careful with toddlers around the hot water). There is a park for the kids in literal walking distance. Nothing really bad to say, other than the lvp flooring type had a texture that seemed to hold in dirt and there are really no area rugs, so you might want to bring slippers.
