An elevator offers easy access to upper floors. The ground-floor master suite in the guest wing has a king bed, a large closet, and two queen-sized bunks hidden in the wall as well as an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Poolside, a second outdoor kitchen at one end of the covered lanai is the perfect place to grill the catch of the day. Cozy sofas surround another large tv and the outdoor fireplace on the opposite side of the porch.

The second story offers beach glam with the Gulf's turquoise waters peeking through the veranda's French doors. Another covered veranda overlooking the backyard pool oasis makes alfresco dining a delight at either an 8-seat table or a 4-seat cafe table. A large TV, sink, and built-in grill complete the summer kitchen. A gourmet chef's kitchen steps away offers an 81 square feet island crowned with a 5' wide iron chandelier. Double dishwashers, commercial-sized refrigerator, 6-burner Wolf gas range, and Quad -- yes, 4 -- ovens, along with ample counter space and double microwaves make cooking a joy for family and friends on vacation. Twin 11-foot dining tables ensure comfort when enjoying a gourmet meal. A wet bar with icemaker, splash sink, and wine cooler across the room means vacation mixologists have plenty of space to create. Separate twin seating areas plush with oversized sofas, armchairs, and separate TVs are perfect for watching the big separating the Tigers from the Tide.

At the top of the stairs on Floor 3 is a small covered porch offering expansive views. An additional guest wing on the 3rd story features 2 oversized master suites. The huge master suite includes a king bed, full-sized sofa, and a large adjoining bathroom with a travertine double vanity, walk-in shower, and ample closet. Twin single bunks are hidden in the wall while the ensuite bathroom features a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a deep free-standing soaking tub. Also on Floor 3 is an upstairs laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, refrigerator, and sink behind a sliding barn door. as well as a media room with plush sofa and loveseat, cafe table, wet bar with icemaker, microwave, mini drink cooler and cocktail sink. French doors lead to a deep veranda facing the beach and a spiral staircase rises one more level to the 4th story observation deck featuring the best views.

Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach.

Parking for 6 vehicles only in the driveway per the HOA. Additional parking is not available. No parking of boats, trailers, or RVs at this home.

Pool + Spa heating can be added for $90 plus tax per day and $630 plus tax per week. Pool + Spa heating is charged for the entire length of stay. The pool is 31x20 and 5 feet deep. Spa is 9x9

The house was absolutely gorgeous and very accommodating to our travel crew of 9. The only issue was the temperature setting for the pool/hot tub was not appropriately set so it fluctuated between 90-104 degrees, which was either too cold or too hot.

We had a great time at this property. It's in a quiet neighborhood which was exactly what we were looking for. Amazing Stay

We cannot say enough about the quality of the house and our overall stay. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and everyone spoke about how comfortable the beds were. The house is so well built that you really couldn’t hear everyone else in the house. We loved the convenience of the beach and with the bonus of a golf cart, it made it even easier to get back and forth. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Family Time

Our stay at Glam Clam was awesome, the house is absolutely gorgeous, the communication with management was very smooth as well as the check in check out process. My only issue that I would like to mention is the spa was not working and would not be available for us during our stay, which I was not notified of until after we had already been there a couple of days, which was very upsetting, also the cushions on the sofas are worn, when you sit on them you almost go all the way to the floor which makes it difficult for anyone that's older to sit and sit comfortably. But all in all it was a great vacation, a great property and a great location. We would definitely be back.

We were pleasantly surprised with 4 bikes, beach towels and pool toys! (Squirt guns and volleyball and basketball nets) the only thing we didn’t bring and house didn’t have was laundry basket for dirty laundry and to switch loads! The lot air on was perfect and close enough to beach to walk but the golf cart was a bonus to bring all our stuff down! The pool was great and nice and clean! They came mid week to clean it again! Perfect house for vacation!

Bonus ~ William Wilson who rented the home to my family, graciously answered calls and questions, was kind, cooperative, and made the vacation seamless in every way! The pictures do not depict the size or quality of this home. The built-in bunk beds were great and such an amazing feature! This house had everything! There were so many amenities that there was nothing that we could have wanted or asked for. From the massive kitchen, multiple dishwashers/microwaves/ovens/ice machines/laundry rooms, to the multiple decks with great views this place was amazing! The private pool was perfect. It was a very short walk to the beach but the golf cart helped to get beach gear there easy. There was plenty of beach gear in the garage! The neighborhood is tucked in and quiet. The beach was perfect! Not crowded at all. You could spread out and the kids could run around without bothering anyone else. The house was exceptionally clean which I am particularly about with small children crawling around. I could not say enough great things about the Glam Clam! We can not wait to visit again!

My kids and grandkids enjoyed every thing about this house, close to the beach access, close to Destin and stores in the area. Fishing pond in the neighborhood for my little fishermen was great! The sleeping rooms were great with bunks for the kids. We loved hanging at the beach for most of the day and coming back to the pool late afternoon for snacks/happy hour. The pool was perfect and large yard area to move around. (recommendation would be to have some non breakable dinnerware for kids and non glass, drinkware for the pool area) The kitchen was a dream kitchen!! It was well appointed for the large families. Loved the ice maker and several mini/wine fridges to hold extra items. The Frangista Beach hosts were very accommodating to anything that was needed, with quick response time! We all absolutely loved this house and didn't want to leave!!! Thanks for sharing Glam Clam

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from spending a week in Destin and staying at the Glam Clam. It was just the best of vacations with the family. We ranged in age from 1 year old to 56 year old, and everyone had a fantastic time. This home offers everythng anyone could ask for, from bikes, to gold cart, to private pool that can be heated, private beach access only for the guests and home owners. The home is beautiful, the elevator came in handy as soon as we arrived to assist in getting the luggage and groceries up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. We spent every morning at the beach and in the afternoon after lunch, we would hang out at the pool and just relax. The kitchen has everything someone could ask for, 4 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers and a huge side by side commercial refrigerator. The bedrooms were large and so were the bathrooms, everything was decorated very well and the living room had extremely comfortable couches to hang out on in the evenings. I just cannot say enough about how nice it was to have such a premier property to get to enjoy my family with for a week. We will be back again very soon!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a large family of 8 adults and 9 kids, all ages 4-8. For several years we have been meeting in Destin for Thanksgiving. We have never found the "ideal" house, so every year we book a different one. For the first time, we all agreed: this was the perfect house. It has space for everyone, kitchen is huge, living room huge, backyard, rooms, pool....its just perfect. Almost don ́t want to leave this review so no one takes it away from us.
