We were holding our annual family camp at nearby Singing Hills Christian Camp and needed some extra room. The house was five minutes away and worked out well for us.
We had difficulty finding it based upon the coordinates provided and lack of cellular service, but Tom was super fast calling me back and walked me through easily. Follow the instructions to the address rather than the coordinates. Once we got there, it was a nice cozy place to hangout with the family and the rain.

Hi Joe, thanks for taking the time to leave this review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay overall! The homeowner would like to share the following:
-We're committed to making every guest's stay enjoyable and we do apologize for the inconvenience. We're sorry about the GPS navigation and directions, they are listed on the pre-stay information. We are working to address some GPS not giving the exact directions. We are looking to update the listing so this issue does not recur for future travelers
-As such, we were happy to address any guest concerns, that may arise unexpectedly
-The instructions for the Wifi are written out in detail at home, and the correct password is included in the welcome book upon arrival
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
The house is a nice house but the basement level is full of mildew. The mildew smell fills the first and second floor. One of the bedrooms has mold on the air conditioner, window and mini blinds. I emailed the contact email about this. I hope they take care of it. We were coughing and sneezing from the mildew. Some needed their asthma inhalers. We hope the mildew and mold problem can be taken care of before the next guests.

Hi Michelle, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- Our guest contact has thoroughly investigated your comments and found no evidence of mildew odor on the first or second floor. However, the basement experienced increased humidity, mainly due to the higher-than-usual rainfall in New Hampshire over the summer. To ensure the comfort of our future guests, we've installed a dehumidifier in the basement.- We wish you had reached out to the guest contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home.- As a gesture of hospitality, we have provided an appropriate refund for your inconvenience. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

Six women rented this house from a Friday check-in to Monday check-out. When showering Saturday, the water was luke warm and by the time the last guest showered, it was cold. We just figured the water heater couldn't keep up with that many showers. Saturday night, the guest who previously had a cold shower that morning tried again to no avail....the water was still cold. Sunday I reached out to the contact person. The property manager arrived and did what he could do. We were told they could not find a plumber to do a service call until Monday, the day we left. Really? We live in rural America as well and have 24 hour service. For 48 hours, we were unable to shower and one poor guest never did get a warm shower. We boiled water to wash dishes and we washed our hands and faces in cold water. Hot water is an expected amenity. For your convenience, I scrubbed out the disgusting coffee pot so we could use it and scrubbed the Keurig after water had been left in it for who knows how long (you may want to change the filter too). I cleaned out the expired food in the pantry (I left the oatmeal from 2020 for someone to enjoy) but I didn't feel it was my job to get the spiderwebs in the kitchen too. It smells like a wood stove and the windows are disgusting. I'd never recommend this rental to anyone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry you experienced an unexpected issue with the hot water during your stay. After receiving your email on Sunday, the property manager came to the home as soon as possible to troubleshoot the issue and determined that the pump needed to be replaced, which required a plumber. We immediately contacted multiple plumbers who advertised emergency service, but unfortunately, none were available until Monday morning, when the repair was completed before checkout. Because the hot water system had been functioning properly before your arrival, there was no indication that a repair would be needed. Our home was thoroughly cleaned and inspected twice before your arrival. We have also reviewed your cleanliness comments and will continue to ensure our high standards are maintained.
