Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. The metro was under construction but now is up and running again. Too many keys to access the building but it felt pretty safe. Shopping center nearby and easy drive to downtown. Host was great and answered all questions. Would most definitely stay here again.

Christian is a great host flexible and attentive, place is clean has everything you would need also in a safe area, Valdecarros Metro station is .5 miles from apartment and several shops and cafe's along the way to Metro, you can also use Bolt app to book a ride prices are better than Uber.

Very Secure and Comfortable.

We met our host within a few minutes of our arrival, he was very helpful getting us into the parking garage and up to the apartment. It was a very secure building keys or fobs required to move within the building once you were through the parking gates. Madrid is very busy, so having a nice place to relax was key to our trips positive outcome, about a 10 minute walk to the Metro or supermarket making getting around pretty simple. The Metro I would suggest is the best way to go down town to the city center, traffic is terrible and if you don't care about parking then drive there. The Hussle and bussle of the big city is what Madrid is about, but I would suggest visiting Toledo and Segovia while you are there, they are well worth the trip, history abounds and the towns are smaller and easier to navigate. The apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bathe unit, there is a sleeper sofa if you're good with that, A?C on the main floor, and in one of the upstairs bedrooms, but with the nice wall mounted fan the other bed room is livable, lower celling's upstairs so anyone over 6'4" may feel a bit cramp moving around, but it was described just as it is and we would stay there again anytime our travels take us back to Madrid. Hope you like round abouts Spain has them at almost every intersection. They do take some getting used to. Not far from the Apartment is a shopping mall, and Ikea store, the food court has a large selection of food types and tastes. Ikea is a trip and interesting to visit.

Die Wohnung ist toll ausgestattet, sauber und hat noch viele Extras wie z.B. Shampoo, Putzmittel, Luftfritteuse, ... und der Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die gesamte Anlage incl. Garage sind sehr sicher. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend geeignet, um sich die 4 Königsschlösser im Madrid und Umgebung (Aranjuez, Segovia) anzusehen. Auch ein Ausflug nach Astorga war uns möglich.Der Pool ist vorhanden, man muss aber dazu wissen, dass der Pool nur zu bestimmten Zeiten unter Aufsicht benutzt werden darf. Außerdem muss man wissen, dass der Pool zu ca. 60% der Länge nicht beschwimmbar ist, weil (Klein-)Kinder dort stehen können.Der Hausservice ist absolut Spitze. Unser Fahrstuhl blieb am Sonntagmittag zwischen der Garage und dem 1. Stock ruckartig stehen. Gefahr hat zu keinem Zeitpunkt bestanden. Und obwohl Sonntag war, war der Servicetechniker innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten vor Ort. 10 weitere Minuten später waren wir "befreit." In Deutschland hätte das sehr viel länger gedauert.

Die Wohnung in sich war ok, obwohl ziemlich weit von Schuss - man braucht 20 Minuten bis Ubahn und 30-40 Minuten bis Zentrum. Aber wir haben uns für diese Wohnung entschieden in der Hoffnung, daß wir Ruhe haben werden und ordentlich schlafen können. Leider war das nicht der Fall - die Wohnung ist extrem hellhörig und die Nachbarn mussten manchmal sogar bis 5 Uhr in der Früh feiern. Der Vermieter war auch keone grosse Hilfe.

L'accueil est très chaleureux, l'appartement est très propre. Il y a des plus: shampooings, produits d'hygiène et entretien fournis... c'est un détail agréable, ce n'est pas le cas dans d'autres locations. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour. Remarques

Les remarques que je vais faire ont pour but d'aider les futurs vacanciers dans leur choix, mais également la personne qui nous a accueillis dans l'appartement à faire les modifications nécessaires, s'il veut continuer à louer son appartement. L'annonce parlait de trois chambres : il n'y en a que deux. Elle parlait également d'un duplex, mais la hauteur de plafond n'est certainement pas conforme à l'étage. Je ne mesure que 1,57 m et je touchais le plafond de la salle de bain! La climatisation dans le salon et dans une des chambres mérite d'être changée, car très inefficace contrairement à ce que nous avions lu dans la réponse de l'hôte aux remarques d'autres vacanciers. Quant à la deuxième chambre, elle ne compte pas de fenêtre. Pour toute climatisation, elle n'a qu'un ventilateur. Autant dire qu'il s'agissait d'un étouffoir plutôt que d'une chambre. Les prises électriques méritent d'être revues elles aussi, de même que le volet électrique du salon. Enfin, la bouche de métro est à 1, 4 km à pied de la location et non pas à 700 mètres comme nous l'a annoncé l'hôte. Le centre de Madrid ( La Puerta del Sol) est à 17 stations de la location. Il vaut mieux le savoir. Merci de l'attention portée à ces remarques.

Fantastic Value for money!

The flat was ideally placed on the edge of Madrid with a shortish walk to the Metro and excellent traffic links to the rest of Madrid. I was really amazed with the road system around Madrid which really puts British cities to shame. The aircon in the room kept the room nice and cool, even with the temperature outside in the mid to late 30s! The flat was very spacious for the 3 of us and the luxury of 2 bathrooms meant there was no waiting around to get ready to go out. There are a couple of nice local bars around the flat and the security of the premises is superb with 24 hour manned security gates. The pool was really welcome to cool down in during the hot days but the only problem was that there were no sun loungers available and you were not allowed to take drinks to the pool. This did take a bit of a shine off the stay because it would have been nive to laze by the pool. Overall,, a great flat at great value for money and a very receptive host

Location bien située : à 15 min. à pied de la ligne 1 du métro. Appartement relativement spacieux et bien équipé : clim et ventilateurs, produits d'entretien à disposition, linges de maison... Seuls bémols, une chambre non ajourée et un voisin aimant écouter de la musique un peu fort ! Propriétaire très à l'écoute et qui prend régulièrement des nouvelles.

Appartement fonctionnel mais pas assez climatisé

La procédure d'arrivée et départ est souple avec la remise des clefs par le gardien. L'appartement est bien équipé, fonctionnel, de bonnes literies. Mais il est à noter que la climatisation n'était pas assez puissante (même réglée au max) pour ce mois de juillet autour de 36-40°C. Et cela particulièrement à l'étage où elle était inefficace.

Great apartment ideal for our needs

Frederic and his wife were great and met us as agreed to show us the apartment. Ideal for our requirements with all you need for the stay, well equipped and nice beds. Equal distance from Madrid city center and Parque Warner which was on our list of places to go. Underground parking for the car at the apartment and only a short walk/drive to the metro if you didn’t want to take the car into the city center. Frederic was always available if we needed him but didn’t have to get in contact as everything was available we would need. Many thanks and hope to see you in the future. Thanks again
