Host was responsive. The home is very well stocked. The large chandelier in the kitchen hangs low and we were hitting our head on it. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The pool are was nice but could use some updated furniture. Overall we had a nice stay.

Great little get away!

This was our first time at Marco not staying along the beach row. However the house was everything my family needed. The house was plenty big enough and clean. Everything we needed was there. Pool and pool deck was perfect! Neighborhood is quiet and close enough to walk to the park. House manager was very friendly and easy to get ahold of with any questions. Would defiantly consider staying again!

Needs Updating

House is in great need of updates. When we arrived the AC was not working, the shower doors would not close, the master toilet leaked and the front door does not have a very secure lock. For the amount that is being charged for a weeks rental, the place needs to have a deep cleaning, basic maintenance and things brought up to standard. New towels & bedding are desperately needed! Marco Island is a beautiful place, this house does not come close to meeting the expectation of its surroundings.

Hi Joanne, the homeowner was surprised to read your review, and would like to clarify the following: -We appreciate you calling us about the A/C. The A/C was working properly prior to your stay, but by adjusting the humidifier control, it caused the A/C to shut off, as determined by the HVAC technician. We acted promptly and contacted our HVAC technician who was able to come out the same day to fix it. -Regarding the shower doors, our maintenance partner found that after your stay, all four shower doors had been pushed off the tracks. He reconnected the doors, and they work fine. He also reset the toilet, as it was pushed off the wax ring. It has been caulked and is in the proper position. -Safety is one of our top priorities. The door has a keyless entry pad and only requires a code, which is provided to each guest. The lock is secure, and we wish you would've brought this concern to our attention. -The house is professionally cleaned before guests arrive and after guests leave. We've had positive feedback about our cleanliness, and we collaborate closely with our cleaning team. -The bedspreads, sheets, blankets, and pillows are all just over nine months old. The towels were purchased from a Hotel Supply House, and the remainder of the towels are from Macy's. We also provide beach towels. -We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect the property, and guests can decide before booking if the decor, as well as features and amenities, meets their expectations. -Unfortunately, you caused damage to our property and didn't notify us. We want guests to enjoy their stay, but ask that they be respectful of our house rules and property. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

House was very dirty upon arrival. We had to clean before our family arrived. (I have photos). Refrigerator leaked water into the food drawers. No cold water at kitchen faucet. No small tables on lanai to set beverages when in lounge chairs. Nearly all walls, doors and baseboards of home needed scraped and painted. Concrete pillar outside front door cracked and crumbled. Low hanging chandelier in center of kitchen was a potential hazard to anyone over 6’ tall. We have family who are 6’2, 6’3 and 6’4.

Regrettably, we weren't promptly informed during your four-week stay, hindering our ability to address them immediately. Nevertheless, many of the issues seem minor and could have been quickly resolved had we been notified.- We acknowledge the issue with the refrigerator condensation and have taken steps to address it by ordering a new refrigerator. We are sorry that this impacted your stay. - We regret to inform you that there was damage to a concrete pillar during your stay. While we have arranged for repairs, we would have appreciated being notified of the incident before your departure.- We've taken note of your concerns regarding the low-hanging chandelier and the absence of small tables on the lanai. Safety is our priority, and we'll assess these aspects to ensure the well-being of our guests. While we maintain a clutter-free pool area for safety reasons, we'll explore options like cup holders for lounge chairs to enhance convenience.We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Enjoyable stay!

We stayed in the Marco Island Retreat home over the Thanksgiving weekend. The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal if you chose to. There were extra towels if needed, and plenty of beach towels you could use if headed to the beach. We also appreciated the beach chairs that were in the garage for guest's use. Both bathrooms had been renovated and were nice. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. The house is located in a quiet, established, neighborhood and was about a 10-minute drive to the beach. We had trouble getting into the house with the keyless entry and contacted the owner. She was very nice and gave us the garage code to get in through the garage. It turns out there was nothing wrong with the keyless entry. We were accidently given the wrong code by Evolve. It was obvious the owner cares about her home and tries to provide renters with amenities to make their stay comfortable.

House had everything we needed. Decor was a little outdated but adequate. Nice pool but someone turned on the heater and the pool temp was 95 so that wasn’t much fun. FYI It was hard to reach the Evolve management team on a weekend.but they eventually got back to us I would stay again.

Great family stay - they thought of everything!

We really enjoyed our stay! The contact, Barrie, was super helpful, responsive and accommodating. She really thought of everything that could make our stay wonderful -- even decaf coffee, wool dryer balls, and a million other little amenities. I would have liked the pool to have been heated, but the kids went in anyway. The decor is a little dated, but everything is clean and in working order.

Marco in December

Great house for relaxing, but also perfect location for biking to the beach and restaurants around town. Pool was just warm enough to take a dip and the sliding doors/windows opened everything up so you could hear football on tv if you wanted. 3 bedrooms was ideal for our group and everyone was comfortable.
