The property was very nice and my family enjoyed our stay. The lake water was nice and warm. The main room was cozy. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck.
We loved this stay! It was super homey and in a great spot. We loved the dock and the lake! The house had all necessary supplies for cooking and bedding as well as board games. It was an amazing experience and all 8 of us had so much fun! I would recommend 100%!!!
Stay was pretty good. The area and lake were super nice. Cottage itself was a little run down, and the cooking equipment/dishes were pretty messy.

Was a beautiful place. I had a great time but there was left over mess from previous guests and the owner took more money out of my account then ghosted.Great place but be careful.
The cottage was a little too old but very clean. The overall experience was good. Communication with the owner was great, Dave immediately responded to our questions and requests. Thank you Dave!
all the basics were there - old cottage - fonctionnal and meets our needs and we enjoy staying there but it’s rustic so not a place for fancy/deluxe type of people - will be back again
Caesarea was exactly what we needed to gather for our girl’s get away weekend. Close proximity for all of us. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Dave was an amazing host, answering our many questions quickly. We will most definitely be returning for another visit. Highly recommended.
The hosts were magnificent and great communicators. They let us know ahead of time what they provided and what they did not, which was super helpful. They were quick to respond with my questions before and during our vacation. The property was clean and well kept. It was a tad outdated but easily overlooked due to the location. Drinking coffee in the morning and bourbon in the evening lake side on the back porch was amazing.
We had a very pleasant stay at Dave’s cottage over the weekend (July 11-14). This is our second stay here over the past couple of years. The sunsets were spectacular and the property was just as described in the ad. I loved the “old school” cottage vibes, it reminds me of the cottage I grew up going to visit. My 3 and a half year old son loved sleeping in the bunk beds and my husband and I were quite comfortable in one of the many bedrooms. The views of lake scugog are gorgeous and we would love to come and visit again sometime in the near future. Thanks so much for a wonderful relaxing weekend spent with our little family.

Awesome spot, right on the lake with the charm of an old school cottage. And Dave is a responsive host who quickly responded to any questions/asks we had. Our family had a wonderful getaway!
We spent a family weekend here and found everything to be comfortable and peaceful. The views of the lake and sunsets were spectacular and the time spent outside was quiet and serene. The hosts responded quickly to all queries and were very always helpful. A great time was had by all.
Rustic charm exactly as advertised - clean & well equipped- peaceful waterfront relaxation - had all the necessary basics including a canoe - excellent kayak + paddle board business nearby including delivery & pickup - host very personable, attentive & responsive - great deck + separate dock - beautiful sunsets over the water!
Exactly as shown on the pictures. An older cottage but very clean, beds were verycomfortable, and the lake was very quiet. Overall we enjoyed it and would go there again.
Cottage was wonderful. 4 bedrooms which were more than accommodating . Fenced in deck which allowed for our dog and small children to run around. The lake was gorgeous and perfect for our inflatable raft. Fishing was perfect for the kids as there are a ton of smaller fish that hover the dock allowing for an easy catch for the kiddos.
Definitely looking forward to staying again.
We had a great time. Nice to not have to stay an entire week. Old school cottage but had the essentials and enough space. Nice area with the fire pit right on the lake with beautiful sunsets. Nice BBQ.
We stayed at this gem (3 families) as our boys were in a Lacrosse tournament. We really enjoyed our stay and our boys did a lot of fishing. It was perfect and we will definitly go back. The owner was prompt at responding to our questions and we saved $400 per family by staying here as opposed to staying at an overpriced hotel. The boys created memories and the place had everything that we needed. Thank You!
The cottage has an amazing view of the lake and offers tranquility and peace. We were able to enjoy the view not only from outside the cottage but also from the living room and one of the bedrooms. The host has been very quick to respond and was very helpful. As for the inside we need to remember that this is an old school cottage and not a five star hotel! However it had the essentials we needed for our stay.
