*Clean BBQ grill if you have used it, turn off gas, cover *Replace water gear in boathouse; cover courtyard lounge set if rain is coming *Turn down heat, A/C, fireplace, close and lock all windows

Perfect location and a very well maintained property and the owners were very quick in response. The property was clean and all newly upgraded and well equipped location wise and activities wise. We had an amazing experience and plan to go there again.

Summer vacation

Cottage was very clean and easy access to the dock for seniors and kids. A great spot for sure and not too far a drive from the city. Highly recommend!

Cozy Place

We stayed here for a weekend for our annual sisters trip. The booking was smooth, instructions were clear, and the cottage had everything we needed. Since it was February, we appreciated all of the cozy blankets and pillows for our use. You can tell that the Bickle sisters put a lot of effort into making sure you have a fantastic experience.

From start to finish our experience at The Bickle Cottage was absolutely fabulous! A friend travelling from out of the country stayed here and I was so excited to share it with my book club, girlfriends! The cottage is so very lovely. The many windows wrapped around the cottage make it incredibly bright. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. The kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside during the day and evening. We were also lucky enough to be able to swim in September! The hosts were gracious and communication was prompt. The information left for us not only gave a detailed guide to our stay, it shared the history of The Bickle Cottage. This made us feel at home. Our experience was nothing short of BRILLIANT! Looking forward to booking a family stay!

Perfect Family Vacation

We had a great family vacation! The Bickle Cottage is absolutely beautiful and one of the best cottages we have stayed at so far! We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The place was just as pictured and incredibly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfy. The bed and linens were very soft! This was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. We’d stay here again for sure.

Beautiful Cottage

The Bickle Cottage was absolutely beautiful! Lots of space for 6 adults and 2 small children , beds were very comfortable and the cottage was very well stocked with essentials. Karen and Laura were so very nice deal with as well!

Just as described - beautiful

Booked for two nights, so we could have a work reunion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. The large dining table was perfect for the ten of us. Sunsets were gorgeous. Hope to get back there soon.

Amazing Modern Cottage

We had an absolutely great time at this cottage! It was even more impressive in person than the pictures - the Bickle sister thoughts about every minute detail and made everything easy, from getting the kayaks/ canoes to throwing away the garbage. Steps to the Water! Accessible, Pet Friendly & Full of Heart

My mom hasn’t been well for some time, and it’s been years since we’ve been able to take her on a real vacation. I was searching for somewhere close to the city, with easy access to the water, main‑floor amenities for her comfort, and somewhere that would welcome our pets. I can’t even put into words how perfectly this place delivered.Watching my mom step into the water—over and over again—for the first time in years, it was something I wasn’t sure we’d ever see again, and it meant the world to us.The Bickell sisters are truly something special: warm, thoughtful, and so attentive. Awesome cottage

Our stay was was great. The cottage was cozy but with a nice comfortable modern feel. The kitchen was amazing. The views of the lake from the deck were beautiful but even if you wanted to stay inside you could get a great view of the sunset. Bedrooms were all clean with nice beds. Loved how they offered canoes and kyaks aswell. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a waterfront property

A perfect weekend, grateful!

The Bickle cottage was lovely in every respect. It was both homey and classy. Our family and friends were perfectly accommodated in the bedrooms, large common areas and waterfront. We really enjoyed our campfires, exploring the lake, generous common areas for discussion, games and music. We would love to make this our annual cottage vacation place!

Just a short drive away, Port Perry offers all the shops, cafes, and conveniences you might need—perfect for a cozy lakeside getaway with the best of both worlds.

The Bickle Cottage isn’t just a rental—it’s a family retreat that’s been loved for generations. With its lakefront views, cozy charm, and peaceful setting, it offers a true escape from the everyday. We have a private dock and bonus boathouse access in the warm weather.
