Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great stay and enjoyed the house, especially the pool table and hot tub—those are definitely guest favorites. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back again soon!
The house was absolutely phenomenal. It had everything we needed from plenty of spices to plenty of bakeware. Children’s books, games, adult books. It was quiet and serene. It was very close to town. It was just perfect the hot tub and the view from the hot tub were exquisite we will definitely return back. Our adult children were able to go over to Maggie Valley and ski and snow tube with their children. The area has everything you can imagine within a 30 minute drive. We had the greatest week. Thank you for hosting us.

It sounds like your family made some amazing memories, from cozy time at the house to adventures over in Maggie Valley.Thank you again for choosing to stay with us and for your kind words. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you and your family back anytime!
The property was great for our family. We had my parents and two kids, plus a friend each. We all had comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The house has a fantastic view. Waynesville was great, and we enjoyed going to town each day. The road to the house is easy to navigate, and I loved the drive up to the house. We will stay again.
Very nice house, well supplied. Had a few problems with hot tub and fireplace and the property manager tried to fix, was very apologetic, got a break on the rental fee.

Hi Carol, we’re really sorry the hot tub wasn’t working during your stay—we did everything we could to get it fixed quickly, but unfortunately, the timing didn’t work out. As for the fireplace, we were there right after your visit and didn’t have any issues, so it may have just been a tricky log. We do hope you were still able to enjoy your time at the cabin, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
ProsMountain View’s were very prettyOverall appearance of the house on initial walk in was niceGreat for kids with lots of things to do (tree house, web tunnel, horseshoes, puzzles, books, toys, etc.)Good size roomsRelatively close to townConsNot enough seating in main living room (one couch, two rocking chairs; one of which the leg was broken on it.)Cabinets in the kitchen were not organized AT ALL and there were dirty dishes/appliances and some of the appliances didn’t work.Coffee maker is a pain to get working. There’s one special piece needed if you’re not using beans. There’s a furry rug in the downstairs bunk room. Just so happened to be the same blanket/rug on the end of our bed downstairs and we didn’t have any blankets.Hot tub smelled like straight chemicals so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Overall house was nice but it seems like the maintenance of the house has been put on the back burner for quite some time.Communication with the company/owner was slow and disparate.

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback—we truly appreciate it. We’re glad you enjoyed the mountain views, found the home welcoming on arrival, and that the amenities worked well for your family, especially the kid-friendly features.
We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. These have all been taken seriously and addressed with our team.
The feedback regarding the hot tub and communication is especially concerning to us. This is not the standard we strive for, and we are actively reviewing our maintenance routines with our spa service company.
We truly value your input, as it helps us identify where we need to do better. We’d appreciate the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide the seamless experience we aim to deliver every time."

Comfortable House
Our family went to Waynesville to celebrate my 77th birthday . Had a wonderful time, house has beautiful views, was very clean and had all the kitchen items we needed, beds are very comfortable. The property manager (Vickie) was extremely helpful. We truly had a wonderful, relaxing 6 days family getaway.
Breathtaking views and plenty of space for my 4 adult children and their wives. We all had our own space and each bedroom had a bathroom. We made lasting memories with lots of laughs in the spacious common areas.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire, the kids loved exploring the property and finding all of the cute features - like a tree house etc. And, we loved the beautiful hikes we took in the Smoky Mountains and the lovely town of Waynesville. Our kids loved Tube World and The Polar Express. A great spot all around!

Family Christmas Holiday
Our 3 generational family of 13 enjoyed a wonderful Christmas week. No snow, but otherwise everything was even better than expected. No problems with the hot tub, fireplace, or the grill. The kitchen was well appointed, and even had a bread making machine that we had fun with. Would definitely do again.
Great cabin with fun things for all ages. Beautiful views. Close enough to NP for day hike (we went to Big Creek Trailhead) and to Asheville for Biltmore and dinner. More than enough room for our group of 8. Our host, Vickie, was very responsive to our requests. Thank you!
Great place to make home base for exploring surrounding areas. Vickie was easy to get in touch with band even brought a brand new grill within the hour when we discovered the main one was not working. She was very accommodating to any issue we had. Beautiful home and property.
Very nice facility. Great location. Lots of privacy. Nicely decorated. Everything was great. Only minor improvements would be fixing a couple of light bulbs that went out, and update the potato chips that were left as welcoming, as they were expired. Otherwise fantastic place. We had a great time.
