The Space:
Arriving at this fully refurbished original 1970’s home in beautiful Torquay, you will find a home that makes for easy seaside holidays. The big backyard has apple, peach and olive trees to admire, or try your luck with picking some fruit, in season. There is so much room for the kids to play, and well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement and approval at the time of booking (extra $50 pet fee applies).
Being so close to the beach, you will smell the fresh scent of salty air and feel the ocean breeze. Located only 750m to the foreshore, via a scenic parkland reserve, or approx 8 mins walk to the Gilber St shops, the house is fully equipped and ready for your holiday. Leave the car at home and stroll to the beach, playgrounds, coastal walking trails and main shopping precinct, avoiding peak season traffic.
Tucked away privately with a secure fenced backyard and shady trees, this single storey home has a north-facing deck that flows out from the living, kitchen and dining area. Fire up the Weber BBQ and dine at the outdoor setting – the scene is set for relaxed outdoor living.
A large living room with a comfy sofa and extra seating is a great spot to chat or watch TV – there is wifi (nbn) and the TV in the main room has Netflix connectivity via a Google Chrome dongle. The decor is beachy and relaxed, with wooden floorboards to the living area and new carpet in the bedrooms.
The extendable dining table offers room for everyone to come together, and a brekky bar is perfect for informal meals. The new kitchen has fantastic appliances, including a dishwasher, pyrolytic oven and an Aldi coffee pod coffee machine (with a starter set of pods).
Ideal in summer or winter conditions, the open plan layout centres around the gas log fireplace, with the additional year-round comfort of a zoned air conditioning unit with outlets in each room. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, (plus the outdoor shower for post-beach wash downs), plus a washing machine and clothes dryer for guests’ use.
Three bedrooms consist of 2 Queen beds and 2 sets of bunks (kids only), to accommodate 8 guests. All beds are made up with hotel quality sheets and bath towels. Please BYO beach towels.

Off-street parking available for 2 cars. This house is within walking distance to Taylor Park, beaches and the main street shops and restaurants. A short drive will take you to Torquay main beach, and the world famous Bells Beach.
Take a walk to beautiful Fisherman’s Beach, via Taylor Park reserve at the end of the street.
Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
