Great view!
We enjoyed our stay at the lake house overlooking lake Huron.
It's a great location as you are touring on the east side of the state.
Don't hesitate to book this property!
As noted by previous renters, there are a lot of steps. This was a small hindrance but my 80 friends were able to help each other up and down. We probably needed the exercise. We were able to figure out how to work sling tv. The sports fans were delighted. Lots of great shopping and food choices too. Wonderful time together with longtime friends.

Week in E Tawas w/Family
We had beautiful weather for the five days we were there. The view of Lake was beautiful. The fire pit and patio were great. The home was average at best.
It was a seamless check in . We had family together : lots of room . Kitchen well equipped . Lots of plates cooking utensils etc . Good bathrooms with nice large bedrooms. Great location . The view was breathtaking. Great place !
The views were fantastic. The house has everything you need for a large family gathering. The check in and communication was great throughout the process. For the price point, I did expect some better updates, but overall a very good experience.
I booked this house for myself as the bride to stay and get ready at with my bridesmaids. The house was absolutely gorgeous and the location and lake front was perfect for pictures and for the first look with my groom. They are some of my favorite pictures from the day and will be a part of memories that will last a life time. Thank you for letting us into your home!
We were pleased. It would have been helpful to have instructions to operate the TVs which we couldn't use. And for the amount of the cleaning fee, we didn't feel we should have to strip beds ot haul out the trash to the outside receptacle! Overall, it was a beautiful place!!

Beautiful Home!
Our stay was excellent and me and my girlfriends had a wonderful time! I communicated with the host Yasser, several times throughout our stay and he always responded very quickly and was always polite. The house was beautiful and the view from the upper and lower patios offered a beautiful view of Lake Huron! One thing I do want to point out is that in all the bathrooms there wasn’t any kind of bar in the bathtubs to assist in getting into and out of the tub. Bars should be added so as it would make it easier and safer getting in and out of the tubs.

Not East Tawas
This is a nice home however there are so many steps and 3 levels. Well water - ugh! No access to the water. Hodgepodge cabinets, missing grout and broken tiles. Not the furniture that is shown in the photos or bed coverings. We would have expected more for the price charged!!! Nice views but we went to the public beach to enjoy the sand and water…

Nice
Even with reading previous reviews, we were still dissapointed in the access to the water. With any small children or older adults it's pretty much unaccessible. The amenities in the house were nice, but the updates left a little something to be desired. The view was stunning, but the pictures were deceiving in that I thought the living room would be much bigger. Everything was clean though, which is a huge bonus to me!

The house was adequate for our needs. We kept busy during the day and returned to the house after dinner, so we did not use any of the provided appliances, or amenities in the kitchen.Check in and out were very easy. We had a quick question regarding the code to the door, and it was quickly answered. The views are Amazing. Both outdoor seating spaces are lovely. We bought firewood for our last night for a fire in the provided fire pit.Plenty of seating. There was 1K, 1Q and 2F beds. The master bedroom is large, with incredible views of the lake, but the en-suite is smallish with no counter space. The faucet did leak. There is a seated vanity provided outside the bathroom for makeup or blow dryer. All toilets have a bidet. All linens are provided, which is very nice. The other 2 upstairs bedrooms were fine. The lower bedroom is small, right off the entry, and without an en-suite, so whomever sleeps down there needs to take the steps up to the full bathroom in the kitchen. The stairs are not railed to code. There is wire strung across and one wire was completely missing. We were traveling with a toddler, so we had to keep vigilant and block off that area of the kitchen so she wouldn't fall down or through the wires to the front door below. The photos on VRBO are not representative of the house today. It appears as though there was some catastrophic event with water intrusion. Repairs were done on the cheap and fast. That didn't effect our stay.

Gorgeous Views!!!
Eight of us stayed at this beautiful vacation home, literally steps from Lake Huron. The first floor with great room and kitchen were perfect for hanging out, cooking together, playing games, sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the spectacular water views. We went into downtown Tawas and loved all of the small shops and restaurants. The owner of the home was very kind and easy to work with. He was accommodating of our requests and made us feel very welcome and cared for. We hope to return to experience this home during the summer months too. We would recommend this rental!
Fabulous location and view of the Sunrise Side of the great State of Michigan. Our only change would be to have better ability to enjoy Lake Huron herself. The opportunity to get into the lake front water is very limited.

Family Vacation
This home is beautiful and nestled into a great spot right on the water. It is a tri-level home with stairs to get to each floor. We had 9 in our family 5 adults and 4 children, 2 of which were teenagers and had a blast. The water is difficult to access if you are wanting to swim from the property. The younger kiddos had a tough time with the steps that went down to the water and then the large rocks to walk down to the water. The fire pit and outdoor patio areas were great for sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine and moonlight with all the starts visible at night. The home was very clean and had so many amenities compared to most other rentals. Lots of kitchen utensils, and cookware. We brought a lot of our own and was pleasantly surprised at all the home offered. I would recommend this rental to anyone without small children due to the number of stairs.
We enjoyed our stay in Tawas. Home was clean, had essentials, and gorgeous lake view. Loved the outside patio and fire pit! Disappointed no beach and hard to swim at property but overall had a great stay.

Gorgeous view!
My family and I had a great time! The bedrooms accommodated everyone including two small children. The views were breathtaking! Even on the hottest day swimming in Lake Huron was extremely cold. Would love to wake up to that beautiful view again.
