Thank you very much for your honest and excellent review, and glad to know that you will consider our beautiful cottage next year. Will be happy to host you again.
The property suited the six of us guys for our yearly weekend fishing trip. The property was clean and had everything that we needed for the weekend. We had a great view of Hay Bay and enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats go by.
We recommend this property and would come back again in the future. Thank you for having us!!!
Fall Fishing with the boys. Cottage was very clean and inviting. Lots of room for two families. Owner was very accommodating and available for any questions.
Will book again!

I am very sorry that our guest Renzo suffered a leg injury and due to which he had to cancel his booking.
I hope he will book again when he feels better.
The location is fantastic. right on the water with its own jetty. quiet and cozy. The landlord is very friendly and takes care of questions and any needs very quickly. You can tell in some places that the house is a little old, but it is well equipped. we would recommend it.

Denise was a very good guest. Hope to host him again.
The place we rented was spacious and a great view of the water. It had a beautiful deck for sitting out having coffee on in the morning or some refreshments in the evening with two tiers so plenty of space. The dock was good for 2 boats and had a boat lift that was great as well for anyone bringing their own boat to the unit. Any concern was immediately handled by the owner which was excellent. Great space and relaxing for all.

That being said we were there for a “memorial”golf tournament For a family member and the rental served our purposes as well provided the room we needed between the in and outside
Enjoyed the Sean’s swimming by and the firepit

Thank you for your comments. We try our best to make your stay happy. I have invested a lot to upgrade the property. I just added a new dishwasher after a complaint by a guest. Our mattresses are made with memory foam, and the master bedroom mattress is from sleep country with a mattress topper with memory foam. This is the first time I found that mattresses are uncomfortable. I may take out the soft mattress topper if it is uncomfortable. Some people do not like mattresses with memory foam. I did not understand the stairs to the dock were undefeated. Our handyman has made some improvements to the stairs so that they are sturdy. We have added solar lights on the stairs as well.
A bit shocked to get such a poor rating. Most guests gave us 5 star rating.
Host could not have been more responsive and we found the location excellent. However the place was not cleaned very well, with garbage still under the sink and floors unswept. We were four older fisherman who were happy enough but our wives would not have been. We tried to clean on our departure but woke to a power failure in the area. All in all , as advertised. The host was responsive, but he should get a new cleaning team.

Room for improvement
Bungalow was nice. Property was poorly kept. 12” weeds covered entire yard. Looked abandoned when we arrived. Waterfront weedy and dock area needs a lot of attention. There is a crazy set up for all electrical switches. It took a couple days to sort it all out. There’s a pool table that we enjoyed although the poor cues and no chalk or rake made our games quite comical. There is and ants infestation in the kitchen area. We went and bought ant traps to try and manage the 1000’s ( not a typo) of tiny critters. My wife and mother in law were constantly cleaning and disinfecting to try and control the situation. Honestly if the owner spent 30 hours and $1000 he could remedy most of the downfalls of this property. We definitely left it in way better condition then when we arrived. We manage to make light of most situations and had an enjoyable week all in all.

I am happy that Greg and their family enjoyed their stay despite some issues. Unfortunately, the grass cutter was unavailable the week Mr. Greg was there. The ant issue was informed to the cleaner, and she spent a total of 20 hours of special deep cleaning. After that, many guests spent quality time and gave us 5-star ratings. We are continuously upgrading the cottage for the comfort of our guests. We changed the dishwasher with a new one and added a heat pump, a dehumidifier, and an air purifier in the basement. Our dock was hit by a boat which became wobbly. We had to spend a hefty amount on repairing it. The arrangement of switches we got when we purchased the cottage and the use of the pool table is a privilege to the guests.
This property is a real gem. The house was exceptionally clean. A shout out to the cleaning person. The open concept and large window overlooking the lake was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were wonderful. The wood stove downstairs was wonderful for the evenings. The kitchen was supplied very well (pots, pans, silverware, mugs etc. The week went by too quickly.
Sehr schönes Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage mit tollen Terrassen. Super geeignet für Relaxing.

Well stocked kitchen. Lots of nice touches including soaps and shampoos just like in a hotel. Good wifi as we often had all six of us on line at once. Good country location on the water.

What makes this property unique
The property is about one acre with all amenities, including dock facilities and a free long parking lot (4-5 cars). Unique for fishing. Two stages deck with dining table, rest sets, and a swing. A beautiful fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The entire house is for the guest; no sharing is needed. Very peaceful.
