Awesome place

Very nice place and very close to Brainerd. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The Crosby area is very beautiful with a lot to see and do very close at hand.

Great location!

We chose this property as it allowed dogs. It was a great "home base" while we were visiting friends at Bay Lake and Brainerd. The house was clean & comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay and enjoyed the nice yard to walk the dogs. Would definitely stay again!

The property was clean and well-kept. There were also convenience items all over the property such as snacks, labeled cupboards, shower items, board games, extra blankets. This would definitely be a future stay for us.

Biking base camp

Great place to make your home base for hitting all the MB units. Bike storage in the front was perfect doing most minor bike maintenance as well. Walking distance to downtown to grab evening ice cream. Definitely would come again.

Clean, comfortable and great location

We stayed here while our son was at a nearby camp. Loved that we got to bring our pup with us. We could walk everywhere - downtown to cute shops and restaurants, hiking trails, and a nice grocery store. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and has a large yard for outdoor games. We appreciated that toiletries and snacks were provided. Communication with the owners was strong and they gave excellent restaurant recommendations. We will likely be back!

Cuyuna Coziness

A quality stay in a quality destination. These host genuinely want to support your visit to Cuyuna Lakes region to have access to the recreational destination they enjoy. Thanks for sharing as we would not be able to experience to the fullest over a full week without you. Great to have easy access to a local grocery store and prepare good meals in the full kitchen. The laundry room also helped when needing to refresh some garments, especially our active wear.

I have never seen a house so clean! We had everything we needed, the kitchen well organized and the towels fluffy!!!! It was very easy to get in with the keyless entry. If I had questions for the owner he answered quicky. We are going back in the spring so we can enjoy the bike paths. Great location.

Nice place. I’m hesitant to gush over this place because I’d like it all to myself whenever I need it but in fairness, fits the mtb needs quite well. Good location, clean, easy. A hose to clean off the bikes would be nice but certainly not a deal beaker. Can’t say enough good things about it.

Holiday getaway w/ my Daughter

My Daughter got there first, and said to find the place was simple and to get in was very easy and it was easy to follow the check in w/ the email we rec'd. The owners have it beautifully set up and we just wanted some down time away from everything. We watched movies, did some baking and played lots of games. It was set up so perfectly and they added so many little touches to make our stay even better. Thank you for the tranquility and peaceful place to have our time together to celebrate the holidays. We would recommend this property to all of our family and friends. Thank you!!!

Clean and Convienient

This was the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at. All of the kitchen appliances and utensils were new and there was everything we needed for cooking during our stay. There were also snacks, toe warmers, a spice rack, plastic baggies, plastic wrap, and foil. We thought there was only 1 bathroom, but there is another one in the basement which looked newly remodeled which was fantastic. They also supplied shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There was a smart TV for watching Netflix. The location was very convenient for us and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. We also loved being able to bring our dogs! Overall, we would recommend this property. We had 4 adults, 1 kid, and 2 dogs and were perfectly comfortable for the weekend.

Retirement Ecstacy

My Sweetheart & I + our Lasa Bichon Dog were 1st time VRBO renters looking for a place in northern MN. In our mid-70's with our new e-bikes, we couldn't have had a more positive hassle-free process to rent this most welcoming & spotless home having all new appliances, beds & wooden flooring to include a great bike rack in the front foyer. All amenities provided from towels to cooking items to linens to snacks were a very pleasant surprise. The only negative were the various neighboring houses in the not so best shape but there again, Crosby being an older mining town, it's countless lakes, trees and biking trails make up for it all so much so that we've rented again for this fall which couldn't come soon enough. The owners are very accomodating.

Great stay!

We loved our stay! If you're into mountain biking this would be an amazing location! We traveled with our dog and enjoyed hiking Crow Wing and Mille Lacs Kathio state parks, both about a 35 minute drive away and both very quiet and peaceful in late October. The house was well appointed, we cooked a few meals in the kitchen with no issues. Played some games at the large kitchen table, there was a dog crate and bowls provided for the dog if needed. One thing that I didn't feel was shown in the photos was the stairs to the basement. They are located directly by the door used to enter the house from the garage, and are pretty steep and slippery, so much that we did worry about our older dog going down them, and if we had brought young children would have been even more concerned. Was easily fixed by blocking them off with some storage tubs we traveled with, so didn't affect our stay and still giving 5 stars because we had a great stay, but you may want to bring a baby gate if you have kids!

Nice house close to everything

The property was close to everything and well maintained. The owners had a lot of small touches to make things easy for cooking, cleaning and being connected to Wifi. The yard was large but the street there is quite busy and a bit noisy. Overall we had a great stay being right in town and close to the trails.

Great spot for home base

We really enjoyed our stay at this space in Crosby while biking with our kids the last week before school started. The house was clean and well stocked, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Off-street parking was great, too. We also really made use of the front room for storing bikes indoors overnight because it did rain a few days. Neighborhood was relatively quiet, nice biking distance to the Yawkey trailhead and downtown.

Perfect Crosby mountain biking getaway

Perfect dog-friendly location for access to mountain bike trails and downtown Crosby. We loved the secure indoor bike parking, coffee & coffee pot, easy to clean floors, nice neighborhood to walk the dogs. The place is clean and uncluttered, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Perfect in town location

This delightful two bedroom home is located blocks from the best paved biking trail in town. It is also just blocks away from Main Street where there are wonderful restaurants. Our host was very helpful in proving us with recommendations for the best places to enjoy some great food. Highly recommend Rafferty's pizza, they have wonderful Gluten Free choices as do so many of the other spots in town which is great . The new grocery store is a short drive or ride and carries everything you could need. The property is situation on a large corner lot, and our dog enjoyed people watching from the deck., where we were able to enjoy cooking on the wood pellet grill. Inside the kitchen has almost everything one needs, we tend to do more cooking than eating out because of dietary needs, and we found that we needed more than one pot The equipment was too of the line so we made do with the single pot and got creative for cooking. The living room is also massive and has a huge dining table, though we found the chairs a bit uncomfortable,, the couch was plenty big for the two of us. Bathroom was newer and very clean, had lots of thick fluffy towels and all the bath needs one could ask for, except freshener, which we picked up when we got groceries... The beds were extremely comfortable, lots of soft pillows and comforters. Closets had sufficient hangers and shelf storage. The TV is a smart Tv and as senior's with a somewhat limited tech knowledge, we struggled with using and navigating around to watch, but we managed. The temperature is a NEST thermostat controlled via Google, which after a bit of learning we figured out, thanks to few emails to the host. It had a number of presets so we needed to change reset our settings on the Nest during the day and night to retain our temperature level. The host overroad the presets for us which helped. We thought that providing a manual would help with some of the things that we struggled with. The front storage room for the bikes is beautiful and secure. It was wonderful to have a nice secure spot for keeping our bikes during our stay. The keyless locks are great,. The basement where the laundry facilities are located is bright and very clean. All and all we were happy with the accommodation and the host. Knocking off one star because of the small issues we had. For some folks these would not likely present any issues, but for us it was a bit frustrating as times. Highly recommend this property!
