`From May 1st to September 30th, we require a 3 to 6-night stay when booking any weekend night if more than 3 months out and a 2 to 3-night weekend stay if booked less than 2 months away from the dates you want to book.

1 night stays are approved on case by case basis and typically accepted during the week in peak season and 99 percent of the time in off season times.

Wrong Location and Heating Issues

First off. The pin location was in a different city. This made our daily commute much longer then what the pin location showed. Supposedly I rented half the house and they made up the mistake by renting us the whole house. Forced me to go to texting rather than the VRBO chat system. Said “this is the only way to help us”.Daily our heating temp kept changing and lowering. Last day as a test I put on hold at 70 and left. Came back it was 60 degrees. When I asked the owner via VRBO chat, they responded by texting my cell number again in a rude and condescending way and wouldn’t listen to my complaint. The temp made the first hour or so miserable in the house. I gave them a chance to be forthcoming with me and he kept ignoring my issue and only responded in general that they don’t work that way. It’s a Thermostat. It’s not rocket science. You set a schedule or you hold a temp. Pretty simple. It was very very obvious they were either remotely changing it to save money or coming in and changing it.Will never rent from his host again and we will be doing monthly business stays in Grand Rapids area.
