Loved finding this quiet spot near a family wedding in Kiowa! The quality and comfort of the bed was so appreciated and the little kitchen was just enough for our needs. Our host made check-in easy and was responsive to answer text questions. We would stay here again!

Perfect!
This place is absolutely adorable!! Perfect location for our trip for a wedding. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Elizabeth!
Perfect location and comfortable, spacious rental!
We stayed for five nights in early April, while visiting family in the area. It was our first stay at Jodi's place, and it fit our needs perfectly, in terms of location and size and amenities. It is a really spacious, lovely apartment in a peaceful, pretty location. It had everything we needed, and Jodi was very responsive to a couple of questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. This was a working staycation. I needed quiet and good Internet. Both were in abundance. The place is homey and comfy and as everything one would need for a lovely stay.I highly recommend it and would come back again in a heartbeat. It will be my first choice next time I have a project.

Easy to find, we’re a little worried about no AC wasn’t even an issue, clean and plenty of space to move around. Thanks to our host.
With family in Elbert, this was the perfect find for us! 20 minutes from family, clean apartment, with just what we needed! Small kitchenette, living area, bedroom & bathroom!! We will be booking on our next trip out!
The place is beautiful, comfortable, quiet. A few things could make it exceptional: add a washer and dryer. Do something about the smell of the well water in the house.
We would definitely return and would recommend it highly!

Great!!!
This charming apartment offered us ideal & close location for Family Easter get-together. The area was clean & efficient with properly working appliances, and an electric, cozy fireplace.
Comfortable quiet place to steal away to. Just be aware there isn't air conditioning or a conventional oven. Being under the main house the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. In place of a regular oven there is a counter-top air fryer. Would stay here again.
We were first time users of VRBO and were unsure exactly what to expect. Everything went very well for us and we were pleased at the close distance to the rest of our family.
We would gladly utilize this apartment for future Elizabeth, Col. visits!!
we liked it and the location, once we found it. We did not realize that we had to follow the stone pavers to the lower level apartment. And we were not able to reach the manager. However, it is a lovely place with a comfortable bed. We plan on returning next year.
My husband and I stumbled upon this gem while looking for a place to stay while our child enjoyed scout camp for the week a few miles away. We’re so glad we did! It was such a great place to unwind and relax. The cost was comparable to a hotel in Colorado Springs but with so much more room! The apartment was clean with several amenities. We did have an issue with the television, but that was resolved by plugging in our Roku to the back of the tv. Local eateries in Elizabeth and Kiowa were all enjoyable and very affordable. The check-in and check-out process was uncomplicated. If troop votes to return to the same camp next summer, we know where we will be staying!

Cute small apartment
It was a perfect size for my daughter and myself, and it was handy to things we wanted to do.
Comfortable bed.
Only negative was "heat". There was an electric fireplace. Information said the remote was on the table - no remote and it was unplugged. Afraid to plug it in thinking it might blow a breaker. I would suggest they add baseboard heater in the bathroom and the living room.

Mixed Emotions about this one.
Couldn't get in the key box when I arrived. Called the phone number to report problems and it just kept saying the mailbox was full. Didn't ever get to talk to a person. Tried numerous times.
Front door knob was loose and was hard to turn to get in or out of the unit.
Very cute and nicely furnished. Thermostat set at 68 and unable to change it. There was a wall heater available.
TV channels very limited.
Comfy couch. Great bed and extra blankets. Easy to find.
This rental apartment is fairly new and has lots of potential! It is a perfect size for an individual, small family, or in our case, adult sisters. The space is very cute and decorated tastefully! The bed was SO comfortable… the kind you sink into and hate to get out of when the alarm goes off!
The main area with room for improvement is cleanliness. The listing clearly states this is a pet-friendly space, so I anticipated some signs of previous furry tenants. We have our own fur babies, so this wasn’t a concern. However, we were not traveling with pets this time, and the space was covered in pet hair! There was a visible layer of pet hair on the rugs, the bedding, extra blankets, towels, and even the dining table. I woke up multiple times at night with animal hair in my mouth.
Overall, this was a comfortable space to call “home” while in the area for a week of EAGALA training. I would consider staying here again if we return to the area!
It was a very nice place to stay. Good area to walk my dogs right outside the door.

Concerns to help the host
The water out of the faucets had an odor. A somewhat sewery, sulpher smell. We had to buy bottled water. There was dog hair on the rug in the living room. I could not figure out the bedroom TV. The upstairs noise woke us in the mornings. (Footsteps, activity etc.) It would be helpful to have a grab bar from the shower and one more towel rack.
It was a perfect location for us visiting with family in Elizabeth. The area is pretty and feels very "outdoorsy".

Hi Andrea, thanks for letting us know about your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned:
-We use well water and, unfortunately, there is sometimes an odor. The water is safe to drink.
-We vacuum and clean after every guest, but we are a pet-friendly apartment and sometimes all of the hair does not come up. We do replace the rugs periodically so they are fresh.
-We are sorry about the noise. We live on the property and work during the week. We do have quiet hours and try to be considerate.
-We provide two TVs and are happy to help with the instructions. Instructions are also in the Welcome Book.
-The towel rack can accommodate two guests.
-We do not advertise our shower as handicap-accessible, so we don't recommend the shower for individuals with physical limitations. It is not possible to install a grab bar.
We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the location!
I absolutely loved the location of the property. The host was very nice upon my arrival and it was a great place to catch some Z’s after navigating the bustling city. Will have to bring my pup next time, he’d love it!
The area was nice and secluded and generally comfortable, but there were a few issues: previous tenant had a dog and there was fur all over the throw blankets and the rug, and there was quite a bit of dust. We ran out of toilet paper on night 2 out of 3. Lastly and most importantly, the hot water smelled like eggs, so much to the point we were forced to take cold showers and even then, the smell lingered. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

From the owners: "We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay for the most part but are sorry to hear about the concerns that affected your stay.
-Our place is dog friendly. We do our best to get all the dog hair up, but our place is best suited for animal lovers.
-We live in the country on a dirt road and we do get dust from that, but the apartment is cleaned and dusted after each guest.
-We usually keep a stock of toilet paper and more is available if needed, just let us know.
-We are on a well and sometimes the water does smell like eggs.
We wish you had reached out to us about your concerns, as we would have been happy to take care of anything you may have needed! Thank you for your feedback and your stay."
