We invite you to enjoy our home with family and friends. We offer it to guests who seek the comforts and privacy of vacationing in their own home and are looking for an authentic Niagara-on-the-Lake experience.
The Pines is the perfect place for celebrating special occasions and creating memories.
The inviting main floor offers an open concept space with large principal rooms. This great layout offers friends and family the opportunity to easily gather and move between the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room.
The spacious Dining Room has a large pine harvest table that seats 8-10 people. The warm morning sunlight pours in from the double French doors and transom lights above the leaded glass front windows. The unique tin ceiling, recovered from a bank in the 1920’s, make the home feel truly unique.
The charming farmhouse kitchen features solid Cherry wood cabinets, a double antique porcelain sink, Heartland stove, dishwasher, microwave and is fully equipped with kitchen essentials.
The Living Room features plenty of comfortable seating for family gatherings and movie nights. The room provides both comfort and function with a gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, DVD player and an antique phonograph . The French door off of this room leads to the fourth bedroom and main floor washroom.
The fourth bedroom affectionately known as, Morning Dove, is located on the main floor at the back of the house. The room features a queen bed with a 3-piece ensuite with a pedestal sink and shower stall. This main floor bedroom is a room that earlier risers tend to select.
The bright and well-equipped laundry room with walkout to the pool area completes the inviting main floor.
The distinctive staircase, which was reclaimed from a local farmhouse, leads you to the upper hallway. The second floor features three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The fourth bedroom and ensuite are located on the main level.
The expansive primary suite, The Starling Room, features cathedral ceilings, private balcony, fireplace and a queen shaker bed, along with a flat screen TV and a day bed. The private ensuite boasts an antique claw foot tub, shower stall with subway tiles, and cathedral ceilings with a skylight. The Starling boasts a private balcony nestled among the tall pines overlooking the pool. This is the perfect place to enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning or stargaze with your favourite glass of wine in the evening.
The Starling (30’x18’) can accommodate 2 adults with a child or 3 adults.
The second bedroom, The Sparrow Room, features a maple queen sleigh bed. The three windows in the room overlook the white picket fence in the front yard where you just may spot a Niagara-on-the-Lake Sparrow. There is a door between the ensuite and the hallway making it a private ensuite bathroom or it can open to the hall for others on the floor to share. The four-piece ensuite features a vintage pedestal sink, deep tub and shower and white wainscoting.
The Sparrow can accommodate up to 2 adults.
The third bedroom, The Bluebird Room, is bright and warm and features a classic white wicker double bed and a cozy daybed. The décor in the room will remind you to keep your eyes open for Bluebirds.
The Bluebird can accommodate two adults with a child or 3 adults.
Nestled among the majestic pines you will find the beautiful private yard with a heated swimming pool. Enjoy the oasis on the loungers by the pool or in the double size hammock. Cook up a meal on the natural gas barbeque and enjoy your favourite beverage at the outdoor bar. This outdoor oasis is the perfect setting for a family dinner after a long day of fun by the pool or adventures in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The heated pool is open Victoria Day long weekend until mid September. During the Summer season the heated pool is maintained at 86 degrees.

Why they chose this property
20 years ago Niagara-on-the-Lake was ‘our place’ for weekly walks, morning coffees, and evening date nights during our 5 years of studies at Brock University. It was here we would sit and talk about our future and family. We always wanted life to bring us back to where we first fell in love; Niagara-on-the Lake. It has always been a special place for us.
Over the years we took weekend trips to NOTL with our children where they got to experience the beauty and unique charm of the Niagara region. In 2020 we were fortunate to stay at The Pines. It was at this time it became evident the entire family had fallen in love with Canada’s prettiest town. Upon learning The Pines was for sale, we knew it was a sign to plant our roots in Niagara-on-the-Lake forever and make it our home away from home. The previous owners have inspired us to continue their legacy and labour of love that they have created at the corner of Simcoe and Anne Street. We are excited to share this journey with you!
