Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back verandah fir breakfast each morning, enjoying both the sunshine and the view of Moreton Bay.Good access to where we needed to go (M1) and Bluey's World. As an added extra, enjoyed the Tim Tams.Thank you for a great winter break
We ended up in Manly after our CBD accomodation got cancelled. If it wasn't for that we'd never have discovered this gem. Manly is an amazing little place to checkout and La Vie en Rose has everything you need. Definitely recommend.
The house is perfect for a short stay. Communication with host was excellent. House was well appointed - comfortable beds, air conditioning a winner and the house was super clean and well presented. Great location!
This place is perfect for a stay in Brisbane: close to the airport, easy walking distance to the local train into the city (which only costs 50 cents!), but set in a peaceful seaside community where it is easy to relax by the shore and have dinner after a busy day in the city. We look forward to returning! Thanks again to Walter for being such a great host and for keeping such a nice property.
Great place to stay for a few days. Loved the thick quality sheets and the chocolates!!!!

Cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in. An old house, but it’s renovated with love and care to detail. Lots of extras such as pantry items, food and toiletries. Great communication with the owner. Only negative is some traffic noise.

Lovely accommodation well placed for everything. Everything we needed.
Slight morning traffic noise.
Maybe a blackout screen over the shutter between bedroom as our sons light kept us awake (minor issue)
We were so grateful to have found La Vie en Rose! We stayed at this beautiful cottage for a month during our house renovations. Walter and Lisele had gone extra mile to ensure that we would be comfortable - and yes we had a great stay! really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is so clean and cosy!
Walter and Lisele, Thank you for your kindness.
Neat and cosy home within short walk of train station and only 15 minutes walk to Moreton Bay, shops and restaurants. Everything we needed was in the home with some lovely added extras.
If the mattress were not so hard;If there a dishwasher. If there were double glazing or some other technology to dampen the sound of vehicles on a very busy road.
The house is a delight with a decor perfect for vacation. Books to peruse, games to play, TV if anyone so chooses. Kitchen had everything needed, even a few added goodies to enjoy.
We have stayed in many condos and houses in various parts of the world and this one is way up there in rating, Merci.
We had a wonderful stay at La Vie en Rose! Walter & Lisele are wonderful and attentive hosts! We loved the neighborhood & the walkability to the train station & downtown Manly. There are many restaurants & shops in this area. It is easy to walk or drive to the downtown area! We would highly recommend La Vie en Rose to anyone wanting to stay in the Manly area! Thank you!

Very quaint cottage. Parking on the street was a concern but fine. We found it difficult to find the key safe but, the gentleman from next door helped us out. A pleasant stay. Thank you

Delightful.
Good, clean and comfortable. Grateful for the pantry supplies. Lovely herb garden. Easy access to the station, waterfront and station. We were two overseas people without personal transport.
A very quaint and comfortable property. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The pantry and fridge were well supplied, which was a pleasant surprise.
We were a family of 4 adults and whilst it was comfortable, it really is more suited to a couple. It can get noisy due to being on a busy road and the only parking is on the street.
It is well situated and a very pleasant walk to the shops, restaurants and bay. Walter was a great host and very easy to communicate with. All in all a wonderful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, the decor was perfect and the colours were calming.
The larder/pantry cupboard was a surprise.
Proximity to shopping and waterfront is great only drawback is the parking across the road on a very busy thoroughfare.
