Checkin debacle
I had confirmed with owner that a 9-10pm checkin would be acceptable. She provided the door code, but it was incorrect. I spent a Good 1 1/2 hours trying repeatedly to enter the code with security lights flashing on and off then tried the bookabach afterhours to get help. Couldn't get past the security as I couldn't remember my password and the alternate was to access a code via email then enter it, but this process cut my link with bookabach. In desperation I rang friend back home who located an international 0800 number for the company. A person with a strong accent answered and after much repetition and misunderstanding they finally undertook to contact owner. Owner arrived with the correct code. Little in way of apology for distress I had experienced. The unit was clean, centrally located and recently renovated. I wouldn't stay again after the door code experience.
