This modern 1 bedroom suite is part of a 4 plex (with other rentals available) in beautiful Parksville, BC, which is within walking distance to the Parksville Community Beach, Englishman River Estuary, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short drive to Coombs Market and Nanaimo City Center. This suite is perfect for all ages with parks nearby and many other amenities.

This suite is newly renovated with an enclosed courtyard for indoor outdoor living.

Clean, friendly hosts and has everything you need

We stayed at Doris and Rick’s place over the holidays. Our stay was wonderful! This is the spot to be if you’re staying in Parksville area. It has a full kitchen with everything you may need, a king sized bed and the hosts clearly care about their guests and their property. Thank you so much Doris and Rick, we hope to stay again in the future!

Amazing Suite!

What a jem in the center of Parksville. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The suite exceeded all my expectations. Everything that I needed for my stay was available. The soaker tub was a added bonus on the cold rainy nights. Communication was great. I highly recommend this suite. A big Texas thank you to Doris and Rick! #1 on my list for my visits to the Island.

Wonderful property - can’t wait to return!

This place was a gem, it’s wonderfully renovated and has everything you could need. The unit is centrally located and yet SO quiet, unbelievably clean and well stocked with the hospitable owners onsite to answer any questions. Will be returning!!

We were so lucky to come across this listing. I it must be one of the best suites in Parksville! It was easy to find, so clean and just the perfect hideaway. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was delightful! We would recommend this suite to all of our family and friends visiting Parksville

Anniversary Treat

For our 50th Anniversary, my wife and I treated ourselves to a trip to the Island. Our VRBO turned out to be a perfect place to use as a hub for our day trips to various places on the Island. The unit was immaculate and very well appointed/stocked with everything we needed for our stay, even a bbq on the front patio. The king bed was very comfortable and the rain shower head was great. Our host Rick was very friendly and acted quickly on any questions/concerns we had. Unit location was great, only 1 block from main drag, but in a quiet residential area, close to restaurants and grocery stores. We had a black bunny come to visit us on our patio at least once a day! We would recommend the property to any couple or family of 3 or4, and will certainly choose it for our next trip to the area.

Home away from Home

We were in Parksville for my nephews wedding…what a beautiful town and staying at Rick and Doris’s place was just perfect. So fresh and clean. Beautiful decor. Everything you could possibly need they have there for you and if not Rick would be happy to get for you!! The outdoor area is perfect…the bed 🛌 a super comfy…the rain shower is fabulous. We absolutely enjoyed our 3 day stay here and would highly recommend it!! Thanks you guys! Oh also very close to shopping and amenities!

Wonderful stay!

This little gem was beautifully decorated immaculately clean and very comfortable. The private courtyard with a barbecue and patio furniture was a really nice feature. We will be back!

Wonderful Mini-Vacation in Parksville

We had a wonderful weekend in Parksville. The suite was perfect for our anniversary holiday. We especially loved the private patio and the little bunny that visited.

Perfect place to stay in Parksville

This was our second time staying here. The place is spacious and immaculately clean. The kitchen is well-stocked and perfect for preparing meals. And of course, the property itself is beautiful and centrally located. The owners are really friendly and they communicated well in advance of the trip. I plan to stay here every time I bring my family to Parksville.

Great Place ! Indoor and Out

Hosts were great at communicating and responding to my questions. We were there for a tournament, and it was great to come back to a well stocked kitchen, A/C, and to relax in the back yard. Having the BBQ was also a big plus, as there isn't many options in Parksville eating later in the day. Thanks to Doris and Rick for their hospitality and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful and spacious

The unit is just as pictured. Very clean and cozy. The furnishings were all very comfortable with plush towels and linens. The outdoor space was beautiful and private. We stayed 5 nights and explored the beaches, Rathtrevor Park, Englishman River Falls and Cathedral Grove. It’s a very central location for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Wonderful getaway

We had a lovely 3 night stay. Property was spotless and provides all the amenities needed for a "home away from home" experience. Perfectly located to explore Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Coombs. Host Rick is nearby if any needs arise. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic gem in Parksville

Spotlessly clean and well decorated home in Parksville. Would be great in the summer as it’s within walking to the city beach but on a side street, away from the summer traffic. Good local restaurants are nearby along with three grocery stores in case you want to take advantage of the full kitchen in the unit. Doris and Rick were welcoming hosts and I had zero issues during my stay. The pictures are exactly what you get. I’ll definitely be booking again when I need a place to stay in Parksville.

Family visit

Location was great for getting our morning walks in. Community beach and boardwalk is such a nice place to walk. Close to all the amenities you need. Suite was just as advertised, everything was super clean the courtyard was great. Definitely would recommend it.
