Relaxing stay at the cozy cottage

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 - very clean and it was a nice space to relax in after a day at the beach. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, only a short walk to the bay and a short drive to the Cape May beaches.

The cottage is so cute, has everything you need. Washer and dryer, and backyard is just perfect. Plus beach is literally down the street, a few houses. Had all pots and pans and cold air conditioner. We loved our stay.

Lovely in all Respects

The cottage was very comfortable; roomy, and well designed. The back porch was perfect for lounging in the afternoon. Only a short walk to a pristine beach in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood.

Beautiful Cottage with a White Picket Fence

This beauty is just a short stroll to the bay, with some gorgeous views. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, but can accommadate many more with its two nice size Queen bedrooms, and a sofa bed. The kitchen is a really nice size and well stocked. There is a beautiful deck out back with plenty of sitting room, additional yard space and for the beach goers, an outside shower is available to rinse off. It was a pleasant, comfy and quaint place to stay.

Would have been great with better air conditioning

This is a nice secluded property that is close to a nice, private beach (about 1/2 block). However, the air conditioning leaves a lot to be desired. It is a single unit located in the living room and does not cool the house well.

The house was a great size for my daughter, granddaughter, and me. The rooms were of great size! The beds were comfortable. We are kind of homebodies so we cooked in often, and we had to make sure the ceiling fans for the living room and the kitchen because the smoke alarm in the living room would go off. Once we figured that out, we it was fine. Just two kitchen additions would be nice: a skillet to make bacon or pancakes and a toaster oven.We had a little issue with the TV router, but they were able to get a tech out and had it replaced, and all was fine.It's a short walk to the beach, which was great! Unfortunately, Hurricane Erin was out at sea, which made the weather kind of iffy. Of course, that was no fault of the owners, and we had a very comfortable house to relax in when we weren't able to get to the beach.

Just What We Needed!

Location was very accessible. Comfortable mattresses, great TV! Nice backyard.. Front Bedroom needs nightable, and extra plugs (lamp, cell AC). Could use more circulation in the kitchen. Gets hot in there before you start cooking! Some issues with outside grill. Needed new heat plates, grill not very clean, and had to manually light 2 of the 4 burners. An iron and ironing board would have been handy. But we enjoyed our time overall. Would return.

Horse shoe crab season

The house was good, other then having to bring own bathroom towels and sheets. The problem was we couldn't swim at the beach that it is near because it was horse shoe crab mating season and we did not know it runs from may through the beginning of July. U couldn't see through the water so u would end up stepping on the crabs and they would touch u while in the water and it made it very difficult to swim there. Lots of jelly fish to that u can't see in the water because of all the sand the horse shoe crab kick up. There was a kayak but unable to use it because they did not have paddle or the wheels to bring it to the beach. Good house to stay in if you don't want to swim at the beach there.
