Charming Family Lakehouse - Loved Goat Island, Fishing, and Golfing!
Relaxing friendly rural neighborhood. We were greeted with chocolate, marshmallows, and gram crackers - a big hit with the children. We were unexpectedly surprised by the up-dates in the rainbow room. They added an indoor playhouse and a huge doll house. The girls squealed with delight. Furthermore the children had a wonderful time at Goat Island while the adults went golfing at the public golf course. The fishing is awesome - we had so much to do. The country ambiance is relaxing. We love this lake house. Our family easily fits. Now with the extra space for the children, the adults were able to enjoy the comfy couch and reconnect. Private upper deck, patio, and backyard outdoor areas! The property is very clean! The kids had a blast. Will definitely be back soon!!! I highly recommend this property!!!!

I loved having Rick and family back because they were able to treat the place with respect, have a great time and enjoyed the Lake house. They were awesome with renting the space and I hope I get to host them again.
Peace and quiet in rural Texas. Not a cell tower in sight; calm, peaceful, and relaxing. My wife and family of 10 spent a blissful week reconnecting over fishing and boating. Now that I'm home, I feel recharged and invigorated.
The lake house is beautiful. It has a quite magical atmosphere with its timbered structure and flooring that looks as if it belongs in a castle. It was clean and comfy. The children had fun playing with the toy kitchen and playing games; plenty to keep them occupied.
A short drive from your lake house rental into one of the quaint towns can lead to antique shops and restaurants, or you can stay in and fire up the grill for a nice BBQ dinner.
The neighborhood is very laid back and reminded me of a rural Texan oasis where hunting and fishing is the norm. Being a large family, we cook a lot. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans. We were even able to bake cookies.
We will definitely be back!

Rick and family,
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Please come back soon!
We had a great time for spring break at this property. Had an issue with the dish washer (which got fixed). One tv wasn't working but the others worked fine. I didn't realize that you can't really get to the main part of Lake Livingston from this location but we found some areas to do tubing and found goat island. Kids had a blast feeding the goats everyday. The host left us popcorn and smores makings which were huge hits for the kids. Lots of games to play.. Might consider doing a coded entry so they don't have to meet the renters to let us in. The host was super nice but other locations we have stayed at sent us a code to get into the door so we could just get there and chill. Had a great week!
Escape the stresses of city life in this country lake house. The country ambiance flows into the large home which can accommodate over 8 people in its various rooms, some featuring the most adorable bunk beds. Private upper deck, patio and backyard outdoor areas! The property was ultra clean! The kids had a blast with all the games. It was wonderful to look out on the lake and not see it crowded. Will definitely stay again!!!! Overall 5 stars and AAA++++++

🏠Homespun Rustic, Rural 🇱🇷Texas Retreat‼️ Great 🎣Fishing &🏌️♂️Golfing!!!
Homey lake house with a peaceful vibe. The house is spacious with an oversized couch, great for snuggling while watching a movie. The beds were comfy. We spent our days fishing and boating (we brought our own boat, poles, and bait). Very calm and peaceful small town feel. We enjoyed watching the wildlife. The children had fun feeding the adorable turtles; they feasted on the remainder of hotdog buns. Our family enjoys golf and there is a public course around 2 miles away. Furthermore, the sunsets are gorgeous. my eyes were delighted gazing at the sky filled with purples, reds, and bright oranges!

Dear John, thanks so much for your kind review, it was a pleasure hosting you. We are glad you enjoyed your visit. Please consider staying with us again next visit to Trinity.
The property was perfect! Everything was as it said it would be, and ease of contact with the manager was great! Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the water! Our family of 14 had a fabulous time at this property The house was clean, inviting, well-maintained, beautifully appropriated with comfortable beds, plush towels, soft linens and blankets, and plentiful kitchen cookware / bakeware allowing us to make several meals there at the house without wanting for accessories. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor games provided at the house - especially corn hole. The boys still did some kayaking and paddleboarding as well as fishing (we brought our own gear). The TV's and internet access all worked well, and it was nice to have so many areas for spreading out to visit, play games, watch TV, read, and relax. I can't think of one thing that we commented on that we wished were different and that's pretty unusual and phenomenal for our group. It was the perfect getaway for our crew - plenty to do, but also plenty of room to just relax. It's very rural and quiet. You just have to go!

Thank you for giving us a perfect rating and for recommending our lakehouse to other travelers. We're grateful you and your family had a wonderful trip!
Take care! Please come back soon.
This family-friendly Trinity vacation home is located on the waterfront of Lake Trinity, just about 2 hours north of Houston, Texas. This lake has become one of our favorite places to visit. We loved every bit of our stay. If you enjoy bird watching, Trinity offers many flocks. The best time to see them is early morning. It's best to start quite early. Unlike other places, you can get quite close to the birds. This also gives a unique opportunity to click some amazing pictures. It's quiet and serene, a great way to recharge your batteries.
The Lake house is an excellent location for kayaking, fishing, canoeing, and simply enjoying nature. The dock is adequate for boats. The loons are nearby all the time and offer beautiful singing at night. The sunsets are spectacular. Trinity Lake is big and diverse enough that there are several marshy areas that are perfect for exploring the local aquatic wildlife and fauna. We ate every meal on the porch or on picnic tables right next to the water. We have more we would like to do at Trinity Lake and are considering going back again. An amazing location, very rural, not flashy, just warm, inviting, and family friendly. We had a wonderful time, got to go kayaking, saw my first loons with their babies, a bald eagle, and just loved the area in general. We enjoyed sitting by the lake watching them. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming. The lake has amazing, stunning sunsets, and stars like I haven't seen since I was a child, so I'll bring my telescope next time. We would definitely stay here again!!

It was a pleasure hosting Elizabeth and her family. We’re glad you enjoyed your visit and look forward to hosting you again! We appreciate your business, thank you.
The Lake House offers you more of an upscale and serene experience while being rustic. We returned for my wife's birthday get-a-way.
Very comfy. Beautiful view. Amazing hospitality. We were greeted the second we arrived.
At night, we headed to the fire pit with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate and enjoyed the warm December nights. Once we put the children to bed we sat on the deck overlooking the river with cold adult drinks sitting in the adirondack chairs..
The master bedroom decor - dark wood custom 4-poster king bed, pair of chairs & table, dresser, & beautiful stone floors, were so calming. Very comfortable firm bed & fluffy pillows.
We can't wait to come back this summer.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outstanding Family Getaway
Thank you Kelly, your place was great.
Great place for our family of ten. There was plenty of room.
The lake house is located on the Trinity river. The sunsets are gorgeous!
I Highly recommend this lake house, it's clean and well presented. Easy in front parking.
The master bedroom was large and decorated beautifully. The other two were nice sizes with a Jack and Jill tub/shower bathroom. Large open living/dining/kitchen area with large dining table and plenty of extra chairs and stools. The property manager was super helpful. We hope to book again.
Just had a wonderful family vacation. My family has been using this lake house for 3 years. We can't wait to plan for next year's vacation. It's very relaxing, clean, comfortable and gorgeously decorated.
One of the most striking elements is its location, the property is right on the lake. We watched turtles sunbathing and numerus types of birds. We also loved coffee on the deck each morning. The children's favorite was s'mores and hot chocolate around the fire pit.
Staff was excellent!

Thanks so much for your kind review ES! It Sara, it was a pleasure hosting you and we’re glad you enjoyed your visit. Please consider staying with us again next time you come to Trinity.
Such a perfect place to go fishing! It was soothing and calming. My children and hubby had a blast! We made lifelong memories that we will cherish. We will definitely go again and recommend it!! The lake house is at the end of a peninsula, there was no drive-by traffic and has mature trees throughout our property for privacy. There is A/C for the really hot Texas summer days. After a day of fun fishing and sunbathing you can light up a campfire in the fire pit and watch the sunset, then go inside for hot cocoa and games. If you need to login, they have fast wi-fi.
Furthermore, my children loved waking up early watching the turtles and hearing the call of the loons. We even saw a bald eagle.. I was pleasantly surprised how they unplugged and spent time playing together. Your mind and soul will be completely refreshed here during a week's vacation away from the world. It was so wonderful to be in a beautiful relaxing rural oasis.
This home provided the PERFECT VACATION for my family!! We rent homes all over Texas because we love to get away and find beautiful lake views and fish! This was our very best experience yet! The home was the best - beautiful, clean, organized and the pictures do not do justice to the gorgeous interior and incredible lake views. Everyone loved the spacious boat dock for fishing and the slides. The balconies provided a perfect space to enjoy views of the lake with morning coffee or the incredible sunsets with a glass of wine. There were games for all ages as well as water craft for all to enjoy. We loved the library of books. The views were amazing from the living room, the primary bedroom or the 2 decks! The fishing was fabulous - everyone caught several large fish! It was the PERFECT VACATION and we can't wait to come back - we will be here every year!

Thank you for your recent stay. We are grateful you were able to relax and get fishing time in too. Please feel free to bring your parents next trip, we have plenty of beds. It was a pleasure meeting you and your precious children. We can't wait to see you again!
This was our second stay and and it just keeps getting better! If you enjoy fishing, this is the place to go. Our stay was wonderful the first time we visited, but the owners made several upgrades and they made it even more beautiful. The Lakehouse is stunning. It is situated on the edge of Trinity Lake. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs on the firepit, being unplugged and spending time together.

Nice Home
The property is located in a friendly little neighborhood. The house itself is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice of how beautiful it looks. The pictures were a little misleading when it came to the dock. When we arrived, the dock was dirty and not in any condition to be used. The outside of the home (gardening and whatnot) needed some TLC. There were some issues inside as well (one shower head didn’t work, there was no central A/C, and I could only use two burners on the stove) . I conveyed this all to the owners who’s said that they will be working on those things I pointed out. They were really kind about it, but I wished I was a little bit more aware of what I was going into.
It was just a lot of little things that are easy to overlook, but all together kinda made us wish we would have picked somewhere else. I’m sure with the a good exterior cleanup and fixing the little things it’ll be a nice place to rent again.
