My family and I were very pleased with everything at the cabin. There was a road detour that we all navigated fine other than that everything was perfect. I would suggest some upkeep with the stairs going out to the fire pit.

Wonderful luxury property with spacious suites and sweeping views of the Menominee river! We had our family reunion and needed extra space for out of town guests. The place was perfect. Kitchen was the gathering spot! The garage is more like a recreation room. The main floor is very impressive with a massive fireplace and every room is beautiful designed. We had an incredible fun experience there. Our family highly recommend this place! If you have high expectations this is it!

Menominee River stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a beautiful relaxing time at your beautiful home. The only things that take away from the house would be the rotting planks around your sitting area outside and the broken picnic tables. They really take away from the beautiful landscape...All in all though, it was a wonderful experience...

The staff was very responsive in communicating. Overall the property is beautiful. Very spacious. We had 7 families with kids and plenty of room. There are life jackets, 2-3 in smaller sizes and maybe 4 adult sizes. The pond had a snapping turtle so the kids had to be cautious. The ping-pong table was not up to shape and some of the amenities need updating if you are planning to use those. The town is very remote. It’s a great place to go to relax and unwind and get away. The lodge is very well stocked with bathroom and kitchen supplies. If you want to unplug, this is the place to go. You will love every minute of it.

Overall, the property suited our family group very well. There were a few items that needed maintenance on the outside of the property but none of them hindered our enjoyment of the place. There was a small water leak in the bar area and we turned off the water valve in the fridge there and notified the management. It dried up very quickly.

Peaceful, beautiful, serene, and private. This house is absolutely beautiful and the views out of each room are amazing. In the back, you have the river, which you can watch the occasional small boat, see bats hover over the water at dusk, or see an eagle casually fly by. The front of the house has a small pond, with fish and turtles, but the yard features deer, turkeys, tons of songbirds, and amazingly lush woodlands. The house is spacious so you never feel like you are on top of people and can have space. The kitchen and bar give plenty of seating and refrigerator space. The garage is even great! The double garage door is screened in, allowing you to open the door and enjoy the outdoors, even in poor weather. The management company was very responsive to the handful of questions we had, providing acknowledgement and feedback quickly. Towns with large grocery stores or big box stores are about 30 min away, but the town of Stephenson is less than 10 minutes away and has some restaurants and a Dollar General, which came in handy. It is farther away from activities along Lake Superior however if you are looking to unwind, relax, and unplug, this home has it. My family is already talking about visiting again.

Beautiful house on the Menominee River

Our family held our reunion here in 2013. We loved it so much, we decided to stay again in 2025. The pond, and having the canoe for a trip down the river, were definite highlights. We saw turkeys, geese, a fox, and a doe with her fawn roaming the grounds on the property. It was a delightful stay.
