We loved the house, but the gardens absolutely blew us away, so lovely to be outside amongst the garden beds and mature trees. That goes for the whole of Daylesford too, such awesome planning has gone into the beautification of the town.

Thrilled to hear how much you have enjoyed the gardens and Daylesford in general, thanks for your review Alice.
Sweet, cosy and comfortable... this cottage was a lovely quiet spot for a weekend away. With an open fire and being well heated, even cold, wet and windy weather didn't detract from the lovely stay in this charming little cottage. Thank you!

House was beautiful, only criticism was that the bed were very uncomfortable but that's a personal preference.

Thanks for your lovely review, Jacob. It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay. As you may appreciate, bed comfort is a personal preference, but we have noted your comments.
This house was a perfect space for our little gateway. Incredibly clean, tidy and cosy. One of the downsides is that it was freezing cold, even with a heater running the whole day, it was quite uncomfortable. Another minus is that the fireplace isn't operational... A massive no-no for our future stay in Daylesford in wintertime. Otherwise, it is a wonderful space and we really enjoyed the stay!
