Home away from home

Accommodations were perfect! Clean, comfortable and a great view. Hosts were helpful when needed. Who has a better first morning reception than 30 quail dashing about in front of your window as you have your morning coffee?

Rural retreat

A spacious and well appointed cabin in a beautiful setting with sweeping views of Penticton and the Naramata bench lovely during the day and at night. It offered both privacy and close proximity to trails and the city.

Wonderful Stay at Kettle Valley

We had a lovely stay at this property - Susan was a very communicative host and her place was lovely. We appreciate the attention to detail on the little things that made this a very memorable stay. We'll be back.

Peaceful Getaway

It was great to have a place all to our family, complete with a backyard, picnic table, deck, and BBQ. The inside was recently renovated, tidy, and had all the little details figured out. It's a beautiful home and location. Susan was very responsive with her communication and our family enjoyed our stay.

One of our favourites

We absolutely loved this rental! It was clean, well-stocked and in a great location. The privacy and the property allowed us to enjoy time with our extended family and the kids enjoyed the horses and cats on the property. They even had a few toys for the kids. We will be back!

About the host

After years of vacationing in Penticton, my husband and family relocated here in 2007. I work as a nurse at Penticton Hospital, and spend much of my spare time with my grandchildren or horse (or both!).

Why they chose this property

Our VRBO is located on our small acreage. Our house is at one end (near the street), and the VRBO is at the other end (overlooking nature and trees). The VRBO is at the end of a large barn.

What makes this property unique

Our VRBO is almost like camping in luxury. With the benefits of privacy, nature, dark night skies for star watching and yet the comfort of a full kitchen, bathroom, large living area and 2 bedrooms. We have 2 horses on the property that are often grazing in the field near the VRBO.
Ride your bike out the driveway and onto the KVR trail, or challenge yourself with the trails of Gerry Mountain a few mins away. Okanagan Lake Beach is about an 8 minute drive down the hill.
