Great Winter Vacation Getaway

We loved our stay at this property. The home was so comfortable and well-stocked. We were able to walk to the slopes so easily. Everyone had a wonderful time, and we will MOST certainly stay here again. The beds were so comfortable, too! Also, the owner was incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Fall Getaway!

This was a wonderful time to visit Big Bear to see the all the colors of the leaves. We enjoyed the warm cabin, brisk walks on trails near the cabin, sitting by the fireplace, and biking around the lake. We also rented a boat and saw all of the beautiful houses on the lake. We will definitely book this house again because everything was absolutely perfect!

Great house in a great location

Spent a couple days with friends and family and the house was every bit as impressive as the pictures show. Less than 5 minutes to anything you might need or want to do, including Summit Bike park which is why we were there. The hot tub and fire pits make for perfect unwinding at the end of the day

I would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again!! The house was decorated beautifully and you can tell this is a well maintained family home. The beds and sheets were so comfortable, we loved the kitchen and enjoyed the view relaxing on the patio. Great communication with the owner. Thank you!

Big Bear Family Get Away

We arrived to a clean home and well appointed and comfortable. We had a great time and there was plenty of room in the cabin. We were lucky and it snowed the night we arrived. We had a great time snow boarding at Bear Mountain which was walking distance. We would definitely return. Great location.

Spacious, peaceful cabin

The house is beautiful and spacious, but not so large that our 13-person group had to splinter. Everything was clean and well-appointed, and communication with the property manager was excellent. Check-in is also very easy. The only thing I'd make future guests aware of is that the porch is right next to the tee of the golf course, so we had a few close calls when golfers hooked their balls, but nothing scary enough to keep us off the porch! I'd highly recommend this spot, especially for families and large groups.

Perfect for Bear Mtn

The photos don't do it justice. Beautiful home. Owner and property management company were an ease to work with. Pride of ownership apparent everywhere. Well appointed and supplied. Walkable to Bear Mtn - 4 mins and easy, just 5 houses from overflow parking lot. Ski in / ski out convenience. We will be back.

Family fun!

It was 3 families staying together in this home! 6 adults and 6 kids! We had a good time! The cabin is beautiful and had basically everything we needed! Master bedroom/bathroom is very spacious and had a slider that leads right into the hot tub! Great for later night dips! The back deck was a bit of a mess with a lot of pine needles and dirt (from recent rain I think) but I found a broom in the garage and cleaned it up. Would have been nice if it was already clean but we made it work!I informed the host and she apologized and said they’d hang a sign but the back fence is made of fiber glass. Which wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t have 6 young kids running around outside. Friday night every kid had fiber glass in their palms that we had to pull out with duct tape. I would definitely recommend this cabin to other families traveling together. Large drive way. Big living room and great location located less than a mile from a cute coffee shop and donut shop!!

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: -We were very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent stay at our property. While the check-in time for this vacation home follows the hospitality industry standard, the local property manager is always happy to accommodate an early check-in if possible. In this case, members from your group checked in to the home early and did not clean up after themselves before leaving the home. As we take pride in providing a clean and guest-ready home we offered to send our cleaning team out to address your concerns, however, this was denied by your group. The owners prioritize every guest experience and did all they could to accommodate you during your stay. We're sorry that you felt that their efforts were insufficient. While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

Perfect Location & Space

I rented this house for the weekend. The pictures look exactly like the house. Everything that we needed was provided. The house was easy to find with the detailed instructions that were given. Rooms are spacious. The living space was perfect for my friends to hang out. It is in walking distance from Big Bear Mountain, you can see the slopes from the hot tub. Lori was very kind and easy to get in contact with. 10/10 experience.

Everything was awesome

This was an awesome cabin everything was clean everything you needed was there it felt like you were home. Very relaxing neighborhood and awesome weather close to shops and grocery store very convenient. Highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

Absolutely Fantastic!

If you’re like me, every time you hit the confirmation button on a rental that you’ve never stayed in before, you’re filled with mixed emotions. A little excitement, and a little bit of anxiety. The excitement of course is in anticipation that the rental space will live up to its advertising and add to the joys of a great vacation or getaway. The anxiety… well, that’s for all the what if’s, oh crud's, and gotcha’s! We were beyond pleased that this rental immediately put any anxieties to rest and did nothing but add to the fun of a great 4th of July vacation in Big Bear. The booking went smoothly, the property assistant that checked us in was extremely kind and flexible with our fluid arrival time, and the owner was very responsive, easy to communicate with, and felt genuinely interested in us enjoying our experience. The cabin was clean, organized, and cared for. The accommodations were very comfortable. The added amenities like the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, fire pit coffee tables on the deck, etc… all were in great working order and made our stay that much more relaxing, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the things a family or group would need to prepare great meals. It was one of those experiences where you feel comfortable the moment you step through the door. The location was perfect as well. Especially during the extremely busy and high traffic time of a Holiday weekend in Big Bear. It was just minutes off the main drag through town and if you’re creative with gps, you can miss all the traffic in town by using the back neighborhood streets (absolute life saver after the 4th of July Fireworks traffic) We loved being on the quiet golf course as well. In addition to the calm, quiet, bird chirping, fresh mountain air, coffee in hand snuggled under a blanket next to the coffee table fire pit on the deck mornings and nights… the kids loved to sit on the deck and appropriately cheer on (golf clap style) any golfers that would come by. All and all, I would highly recommend this cabin. It’s definitely going on my permanent list of repeat rentals the next time I’m in Big Bear.
