Escape to Villa Views, a peaceful private retreat in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, with sweeping views across the countryside to the coast and ocean beyond.

Perfectly positioned for exploring the region, we’re just 10 minutes from Maleny and Australia Zoo, around 20 minutes from Montville and the Sunshine Coast beaches, with Noosa and its famous beaches, restaurants and national park an easy day trip away.

Relax on one of two decks and take in the views by day and the twinkling coastal lights at night. Inside, the villa is comfortable and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway, with a modern kitchen, two bedrooms, inviting living spaces and everything you need to settle in and unwind.

Cook dinner in the kitchen or fire up the Weber Q BBQ, enjoy a book from our library, or simply sit back with a drink and enjoy the peaceful hinterland setting.

My husband and I had a great time away. The Villa was easy to find and the host gave us all the information we needed to check in. It was exactly how the photographs showed it to be. It was like a home away from home. All we needed to bring was our luggage and some groceries because my husband loves to cook . He made good use of the kitchen and Weber bbq. The views are beautiful and so many varieties of birds can be seen in the trees. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house, great views, great stay.

We stayed at Villa Views for the long weekend and were very impressed by the location, the pretty countryside, views to the coast, modern house and amenities, and the thoughtful extras provided. Libby and Tony are great hosts and I'd recommend this stay to everyone.

Best house!

This was such a lovely house with the most beautiful view of the Caloundra coast. We sat on the balcony every evening watching the ships go past. Would recommend this stay to everyone.

Relaxing stay for all the family

This is a lovely property with expansive views to the coast. Our small dog and young children loved the balconies and listening to the birds. We could easily have stayed a lot longer and can't wait to get back! It's tucked away from everywhere but only a short drive to the lovely cafes and galleries of Maleny and Montville.

Relaxing getaway

We went to Maleny for a quite, relaxing escape. It was perfect! Check in was super simple. Property is beautifully situated and wonderfully designed. Would recommend! The dog loved it too 🐶

Great dog friendly house

Not too far from Maleny and some good off leash dog beaches. Very comfortable bedrooms with air con and fans, and a lovely view from the deck. The internet on the tv didn’t work unfortunately so Netflix kept cutting out was our only trouble.

Peaceful paradise

Our stay at Villa Views at Mt Mellum was a true peaceful getaway. We took a short break away and found this property just beautiful. Well designed and thoughtful inclusions were greatly appreciated. This stay was extremely comfortable and well appointed enough for you to stay in and enjoy the beautiful views and tranquil birdsongs. This is a gem amongst the trees. Villa Views is a delightfully peaceful place that invites you to relax as soon as you arrive. It is spacious and well designed, every aspect of it reflecting the owners' thoughtful attention to detail. Everything you could want is there - the kitchen is better equipped than my own home. The views are stunning so sitting on the deck, with trees all around you, is peaceful and calming, so good for the soul. Yes, you are close to Maleny and Montville etc, but leaving Villa Views wasn't an option for us - we were very content to simply be. And so was our dog. If you are looking for some quiet, relective time, Villa Views provides a delightful respite.

Best of Both Worlds

My wife and I were looking for a quiet hideaway for a weekend and could not have been happier after choosing Villa Views. Located in a quiet country laneway out of town, it, is surrounded by trees and has a great view out to Caloundra and the ocean. The Villa itself is really modern and had everything we needed for a weekend, but was fitted out well enough for a long term stay. Everything was in "as new" condition and was spotlessly clean. It is a credit to the owners and a first class holiday rental.

Weekend Escape

The villa and views are beautiful but our dog was not suited to this property and is something we will take into consideration when booking. We also missed having access to a microwave, it is a staple that we overlooked when booking this property. We were able to accomodate around this but also suggest adding a baking tray for the oven.

This property was beyond our expectations, everything about it was beautiful top to bottom! It was clean, well presented, the view was amazing!! The kitchen had everything we could want! It seemed like a new build, everything looked brand new and I can’t praise this property enough! We’ll definitely be coming back and telling all of our friends about this property!

My husband and I made our tree change from the city to beautiful Mt Mellum in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, fulfilling a long held dream of living a simpler life in a peaceful rural setting.

Villa Views is situated on our one-acre property, and we love being able to share this beautiful part of the hinterland with our guests.

We’re also dog lovers, and our two dogs, Ted the Border Collie and Scout the Aussielier, live here with us. We know holidays are even better when your four-legged family members can come too, so we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs to Villa Views.

We’re still discovering new places ourselves and are always happy to share our favourite local spots and suggestions for exploring Maleny, Montville, the Sunshine Coast, Australia Zoo and beyond.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Mt Mellum for its peaceful rural setting, beautiful views and location between the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and the coast.

It feels wonderfully secluded, yet we’re only around 10 minutes from Maleny and Australia Zoo, 20 minutes from Montville and within easy reach of the Sunshine Coast beaches. Noosa is also an easy day trip.

We love the combination of country life, mountain villages, great cafés and restaurants, rainforest walks and beautiful beaches, all within easy reach. It’s a wonderful part of the Sunshine Coast to explore, or simply slow down and enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Villa Views combines the peace and space of a hinterland escape with beautiful views stretching all the way to the Sunshine Coast.

The villa is set on our one-acre Mt Mellum property but has its own private space, giving guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the rural surroundings. Two decks make the most of the outlook, with sweeping views by day and the lights of the coast in the distance at night.

It’s a modern, comfortable and fully equipped two-bedroom villa, with a kitchen, Weber BBQ, Wi-Fi and plenty of space to unwind.

We’re also dog-friendly, with a fenced outdoor area, so your four-legged family members can come along too.

What we love most is the location: you can wake up to the tranquillity of the hinterland, spend the day exploring Maleny, Montville, Australia Zoo or the beaches, then come home to the peace and views of Villa Views.
