About this property

You will enjoy the open concept main floor consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Ocean view dining with adjoining sunroom. Main bedroom with king size bed opens up to the sunroom with floor to ceiling ocean views right from the bed.
The living room has a 55" TV and electric fireplace. Well equipped kitchen complete with coffee/tea station, dishwasher and ice machine. The property is level entry walk on waterfront. It's unique in that it sits out on a 'spit' of land surrounded by water with a fantastic sandy beach out on the point. Close proximity to hiking trails and many points of interest.

Deep Bay

We enjoyed our stay at Deep Bay very much. The house was bright and clean. We could sit at the table and watch harbor seals swimming and eagles over head. The owner was very communicative and even let us know when whales were passing and there were a lot of extra touches around the house to make us feel more welcome. One thing to keep in mind is that the master bedroom can't be completely closed from the rest of the house.

Why they chose this property

We are centrally located on beautiful Vancouver Island. Deep Bay is a unique and quiet little marina village on the east coast of the Island, yet only a 5 minute drive to the old scenic highway and just10 minutes to the inland highway. Our property is out on 'the spit' south-facing towards the marina and the bay. Walk around the spit and out onto the sandbar at low tide. Enjoy all the wildlife, such as bald eagles, sealions, seals, deer, great blue heron and if you're lucky, maybe spot a bear across the beach at low tide or the orca killer whales that frequent the area. Mapleguard Point - at the end of the spit - is not only a great sandy beach to enjoy during the day, it's also a favorite spot among the locals to take in the sunset.
