It was a cute place but could use some fixing up. Such as paint and some deep cleaning. I would also suggest having different sizes of pillows for the bed. The pillows were super thick and hurt our necks. We ended up using blankets instead.Check in went smooth and property manager was very friendly. I asked prior if they had a coffee pot and was told yes. They had two coffee makers, a Keurig and regular coffee maker. We tried using the Keurig, it was dirty and spilled coffee and coffee grinds all over the counter and floor. The other coffee pot was dirty so we drove to town to get coffee. The jacuzzi was nice and hot but the jets on one side didn’t work very well and the water was extremely cloudy. There needs to be more lighting around the jacuzzi area. It’s in a beautiful location and easy to find. I feel it was a bit overpriced for what it was.
We enjoyed our weekend at the Cozy Cottage. It had everything we needed and relaxing in the hot tub was just what we needed. Close proximity to Payson & Pine/Strawberry. We hiked Tonto Natural Bridge and Pine Trailheqd.
Overall excellent. It was quiet, a good time to gather and refresh with friends. Us moms needed this quick getaway. The cottage was cozy and well kept, had everything we needed from extra toiletries, to seasonings and extra towels and blankets. Overall clean, there are 2 trash bin in the kitchen one was half full of empty beer bottles no big deal. There was also a fairly large amount of hair in the shower drain cover.
We didnt arrive until evening but the hosts instructions were easy to follow. We were worried when we got to the bridge as water was running across (as it’s supposed to we later learned). The host did mention in the instructions the water was shallow but we were a little scared crossing at night because we couldn’t see just how shallow it was.
Lastly, the bathroom door is a barn door which doesn’t allow for much privacy in the bathroom.
For those reasons I’m giving a 4/5
we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return in the future!
The little details were very welcoming... chocolates on our pillows, popcorn while enjoying a movie and coffee pods for the morning. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and is very relaxing.
My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Cozy Cottage. The owners have gone above and beyond ensuring we did not want for anything! We very much appreciated all of the little extra touches! The cottage was nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a 10 minute drive to shopping and restaurants. Close proximity to Tonto Natural Bridge and Wagon Wheel too! Would stay again!
Host/owner was very helpful moving my handicapped hubby into cabin and with unpacking. The cabin was perfect and nicely stocked; I highly recommend it and we’ll return again.
The home is very inviting. Consciences of every family need. The location is a little tough. Fishing needs to be a little further out. Peaceful definitely.
My husband and I went to the cozy cottage as we needed his place to stay in the area close to Camp LoMia in Pine… The home was easy to find, easy access and had the most comfortable king bed. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi every evening. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the rest of the house, but I was pleasantly surprised to see lots of little extras that the owner had left for us as a renter to use. I think the extras make a big difference the next day after checking out, I realized I had lost my bracelet and I quickly called the owner… She found it and mailed it back to me at no charge… I thought she was the kindest person to help me with this. I would definitely rent here again!
Such a cute little place. Great hot tub that was easy to open. Tons of games and activities - we didn’t bring kids, but has toys for littles. Close neighbors, but I didn’t see anyone and only heard one car drive by - very private. Kitchen had everything we needed. Comfy bed that even had chocolates on our pillows.
Really enjoyed our trip up from Gold Canyon for 2 nights. Such a unique cabin. Interesting conversation with Verla. The bed was super comfortable. We'd love to come back up.
We also enjoyed local beer & yummy eats at That Brewery in Pine. Had Elk Chili. Saw some elk near the road. Im sure they weren't related.
Spent 2 nights in this beautiful home with my boyfriend for my birthday celebration. Gorgeous drive up, easy check in and the amenities were more than I expected, even down to shampoo in the shower and ice in the fridge. Clean and comfy, I really didn't want to check out. I 10000% intend to book again!!!!
This property exceeds expectations. The owners have gone above and beyond anticipating what visitors might need and expect. The cottage is in a unique location and everything about our stay was fun.
Pleasant cottage in quiet setting. Very comfortable bed. Uneasiness about rising water over creek/river crossing was the only drawback.

My husband and I have been married for over 53 years, We are the proud parents of 2 children and now have added their spouses to our family. Our son and his wife have 2 boys, our daughter and her spouse have 2 girls. We were blessed to find our home in this quiet community. We love the quiet and solitude here. We have been able to purchase 4 homes one for us and 3 we are able to share with others. We live down the street from the rentals so are close by for any needs.
