Stunning Island Park Home with Private Dock! Only the Birds have Better Views!

Situated near the west end of Ocean Isle Beach, this Island Park Cottage invites you into the serenity of the sound, marshes, and Intracoastal Waterway. Unobstructed 180 degree views from the living room, the two back bedrooms, and the deck begin at sunrise and end with a spectacular sunset...definitely the best view of the sunset on the island! The view of the waterway will lure you down to the private dock from which you can observe the birds, catch fish and crabs, or a launch a kayak to get a closer look among the reeds. On the first floor, this 1500 sq ft home has a large, very well equipped kitchen that opens into the dining area and a comfortably furnished living room with 50" TV. The rooms are open, light and airy, giving it the feel of a much large place. Excellent floor plan for entertaining and family time.

The home has 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, with beds for 9 people: 4 queen size beds and a twin bed bunked over one of the queens. Downstairs master has cable TV; there is WIFI throughout. Convenient full size washer and dryer on main floor. The outdoor space under the home has a outdoor bar area with propane grill and plenty of room for outdoor entertaining. The home also has a large, private outdoor shower and changing room on the lower level. Parking under the house can accommodate 3-4 cars; more can park in a nearby lot. The walk to the beach is about 300 yards. Golf cart rentals are available if needed.

The home is part of the Island Park Community which offers amenities such as swimming pools and well maintained common areas. Ocean Isle is a family friendly island, with a miniature golf course, restaurants and small eateries, and a few local shops. There are free Friday night concerts on the island during the summer months. Bike and kayak rentals are available on the island, as well as jet skiing, parasailing and charter fishing trips.The Museum of Coastal Carolina and The Ingram Planetarium are located only ten minutes away in Sunset Beach. There are numerous golf courses within minutes, and public tennis courts and a playground on a few miles away on Georgetown Road. Myrtle Beach is forty-five minutes away where you can dine, shop, or enjoy a theme park.

This was our second time staying at the house and it not disappoint. The redecorating received praise from a couple of family members The location and view of Jinks Creek keeps bringing us back. The house is laid out well with a kitchen area large enough for 2 people and two bedrooms and a bathroom on each level.

Awesome Place

This house was a great stay for our family. The location is near the beach and has great access to the inlet (Jinks Creek) via a private pier. Ocean Isle is a great beach town with a cozy feel. The location is within 40 minutes of Myrtle Beach as well which our family enjoyed. Overall, our family had a great stay and will stay here again when visiting Ocean Isle.

Amazing View!!

We had an absolute perfect week at this house! The view was amazing and we spent so much time taking it all in! The house was very comfortable for our group of 9. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was fully stocked! The walk to the beach was super simple and fast. Having access to the 2 community pools was a plus! We spent time crabbing off the private dock and taking in the sights. I would highly recommend this house. Ellen was very responsive and easy to communicate with! Book this house, you won't regret it. The view itself is well worth it!

This is our 4th time staying at this property and we couldn’t be more pleased. Fishing on the dock at sun up and sun down, walks to the pool and beach, and outdoor shower which is great when coming back from the ocean. House has everything we need. Owner is wonderful and very responsive!

Our little paradise

This home is such a gem. I love the back deck and the dock. Our kids loved fishing and crabbing when we weren't at the beach. I loved watching the gorgeous sunset each evening. We also got to enjoy the pool, which was lovely. The home feels cozy and is extremely clean. Stocked with everything you need. The owner is extremely quick to respond to any message you send. Highly recommend this home!

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at the Arabea house and it was perfect! We took advantage of the double kayak rental and spent time paddling on the creek and fishing off the dock. The house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed & the views were incredible. Can’t wait to stay again soon!

Wonderful home and location

This was an amazing property! Beautiful location and beautiful home :-) perfect for our group. Ample parking and lovely spacious home. It was perfect to sit on the back deck and watch the sunset. Also wonderful to walk out the back door and fish off the dock :-) plenty of room for the family to sit around and have game night! We will definitely be back! Our New OIB Location

This was a real fine for us since we had been renting at 63 Sandpiper for some 12 years and that ended when the house was SOLD by the owner. This location is the PERFECT fit for our 6 person family. Also having no one to the right of the property opens up the view.

Best OIB Vacation!!

The beach, Inlet access, beautiful sunsets, fishing, kayaking, outdoor ambience- this house has it all!! This was our first stay without an beach view & we didn’t miss it a bit. The view from inside the house as well as both decks was incredible! We had the blinds raised all week so we could take it all in. It is located next to an open lot & the neighborhood dock so it felt more open & gave near panoramic views from the living room. The house was clean and well appointed with family games & all the kitchen/grill necessities. The AC was cold & the hot water never ran out. We rented a golf cart which turned the easy 5 minute walk to the beach into a 1 minute ride (golf cart parking at the beach was plentiful on this end of the island). There was ample parking for 4 mid size SUVs & the golf cart. Fishing off the dock & evenings under the deck at the tiki bar were a family favorite. We rented the house kayak & had a blast exploring the inlet (even as beginners). Ellen is an excellent host with awesome communication. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Memories to last a lifetime

This was the BEST family vacation we have ever had! We have already booked for next year. The view from the deck and the dock is amazing!!!! Short walk/golf cart drive to the beach. Clean home with tons of space, inside and out. We made so many memories and Ellen communicated with us so well. We have found our home away from home.

Perfect location to enjoy the relaxing sound side and the beach!

This was our second stay and it was just as great as our first. Clean and well stocked with amazing views. We can't get enough of sitting on the deck and watching the tide come in and out as all the egrets fish and the osprey dive. It's a super short walk to the beach plus community pools! The house is perfect for a family or two and the owners are excellent anytime you need to communicate. We will definitely stay again!

We have been coming to Ocean Isle for decades for family vacations! We first started coming for the beach, but over time, we began to enjoy the natural beauty of the waterway. We are just thrilled that, after many years of kayaking past the beautiful Island Park waterfront cottages, we have our own Island Park home. We feel fortunate to be able to share our property with our family and friends for many years to come.
