Cute & Cozy Cabin- walking distance to the lake!

Welcome to the Summer Village of Sunbreaker Cove. Located on the North side of Sylvan Lake this lovely community offers paved roads for biking, marked paths for nature walks, a boat launch and a beautiful beach area in Glen’s Cove that has a marked off swimming area.
Gorgeous Sylvan Lake as a backdrop throughout the area. Community is tranquil and a perfect family get away.
Our 3 bedroom cabin has a fully renovated kitchen with granite countertops and gas stove. Main bathroom features a large walk in shower and has a rustic feel with newly installed wood tile.
A wood burning fireplace in the living room for any colder evenings.
Outdoor areas include a fire pit both in front of the cabin. Plenty of firewood on-site for those s’mores nights!
There is a trampoline and swing set in the yard.

Bedroom 1 features an en-suite half bath, queen bed.
Bedroom 2 has a trundle bed, so easily converts from one twin to two twins depending on your needs.
Third bedroom is a twin bed.
There are two hide-a-beds in the common room, both are double beds.
Kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig, gas stove and all necessary pans and kitchen equipment.
Fiber Optic internet is the fastest internet possible in a rural location.
TV’s (2) are located in the common area and Bedroom 2. Both have Amazon Firesticks.
Board games and puzzles are available for rainy days.

Awesome, much needed vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The kids had a blast with the play equipment in the backyard, as well as the quiet neighborhood to explore on their bikes and on foot. Communication was great with owner as well, and any hiccups where dealt with. Thankyou so much!

Great private cabin stay

Great private, quiet location in the woods near the lake but not on the lake (10-15min walk, easy to get to via forest walkway or main road of taking stroller/wagon). Updated bathroom and kitchen are great. 20min drive to Sylvan if you want to go to the main beach/town, but then feels a world away and quiet afterwards when relaxing on the deck or by the fire pit. Everything needed provided. Would happily stay again. Also loved the 90s Disney movies and VHS to relive our childhood in the evenings.

Really enjoyed my stay

For most of the time I was on my own, however, a couple friends stayed for a couple of nites. It's a lovely private location within easy walking distance of the lake and trails in the woods. It was very well supplied, especially in terms of cooking, and has a pizza oven, an indoor fireplace, a BBQ and smoker, as well as a front fire pit. There are no stores or gas stations within about 20 km so stock up on your way in! It's very comfy and welcoming. Hosts were great. Hope to return in the spring. I loved it.

Sullivan Lake Canin

The cabin was very well-cleaned and stocked. We were a bit surprised at the accessibility to the lake. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin as we were traveling around the area, doing other things. There were some maintenance issues such as rotting deck boards that would have made it more friendly but it would be a nice family hangout. Some mouse droppings but it is in the woods! Great potential!

Great getaway

I ended up taking just my granddaughter as my husband and son ended up with Covid. We loved this cabin. It was clean and so well stocked! Beautiful surroundings to go for walks in. Hopefully, we will return with my husband in the future.

Careful

Love the scenery, quietness/cabin/walking trails/and soaking our feet in the lake! 1 problem for me was the slippery, sloped path to backyard and to the main street. Loose rocks a concern. BUT my age is 68 and have foot problems and had to be careful BUT, I would go again in a minute. The serenity made it the best holiday we have had for quite awhile!!

Spacious cabin with shaded fire pit area

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking supplies. The queen-size bed was firm and comfortable. The cabin is mostly mobility issue friendly, and the large shower instead of a bathtub was nice. The property is not advertised as mobility friendly, but depending on your needs, you could be comfortable here using a cane or walker. (My balance is off, and I have knee issues). The most significant challenge for me was going to the firepit area, where we spent most of our days reading in the shade. There is a choice of three ways to the fire area. The listing said there was a back firepit area (we didn't locate it). The deck overlooks the firepit area so if you can't make it down, you can still enjoy being close to a group of people or watching the squirrel and birds. The smaller bedrooms do not have blinds, so I recommend wearing a sleep mask if you are not an early riser.

Great family getaway

Near the lake, it was great to take the pathways down to the beaches. Cabin was well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that there was a laundry facility included. Communication with the host was excellent.

Definately coming back!

We loved the cabin and the location was perfect. Very tranquil neighborhood and loved all the walking trails and the boat launch being so close. We also really appreciated how well the cabin is stocked with dishes and games. It felt very homey and we will definately look at booking this place again one day!
