This European-inspired village is located in the Santa Ynez Valley known for its Danish-style architecture, various wineries, and abundance of baked goods. There’s much to explore in the Valley and Solvang is right in the middle of it all. This home is located on the edge of town and surrounded by nature. It's next to hiking trails and a world-class golf course, but still close enough to take a leisurely walk into town for Æbleskiver and kaffe.

The three-bedroom, two-bath home has been newly renovated and features an open concept Kitchen and Living Room. The large Kitchen island serves as a dining area and a stone fireplace adds a cozy vibe to the space. Each Bedroom is fully stocked with luxurious linens and the Bathrooms are curated to your comfort. The backyard has been impeccably landscaped and includes a seating area, dining space, and a BBQ. Open a bottle of locally grown wine and cheers (or "skål") to your vacation.

Loved it!

Very nicely located and supplied. We have given a few suggestions to Paradise Rentals--they were great. Beautiful house. Would stay there again. The privacy issue in a previous review has been solved in the back yard...fenced in now.

Squeaky Clean Home

Everything in this home in Solvang was squeaky clean, which I always appreciate. I really appreciated the comfortable sectional-sofa as I had been in need of some real rest and was looking to unwind. This sofa was large and squishy for reading and really sinking into for movie nights. One thing that reduced a little of the 'retreat' aspect though, was the house is situated right on the corner and was a bit of a 'fish bowl' with all the daily community foot traffic/cars coming to park; with walkers, hikers, bicyclists, so I couldn't really keep the window coverings open for the nice mountain views. So this reduced the truly restful retreat aspect for me, with the cars/pedestrians coming and going all day (there is a nature lovers walking trail across the street). It was quiet once inside the house though, but it doesn't have the sublime privacy or retreat feeling that I was looking forward to. I did REALLY appreciated the A/C, as Solvang was HOT in July - and I was very happy with the cleanliness of the home as I am a ninja when it comes to being tidy and clean. I also appreciated the close proximity into the charming downtown, and the short drive to grocery stores. All-in-all, I would stay here again.
