Cozy Cabin

Perfect amount of space and amenities to enjoy the area. So many fun little things to do. Loved the hot tub star gazing and s'mores. Did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed. Definitely would love to visit again!

Quick 3 day stay

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything and more was there for us to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the trees full of butterflies and hummingbirds, the hot tub, grill, campfire, washer/dryer etc. This is right off the highway and minutes from town and many hikes.

Was such a cute place!

We fell in love with the small house immediately. Everything down to the decor. A quiet place, but so close to everything we came to do. The hot tub was the perfect place after a long day of hiking a kayaking! I would recommend it to anyone!

Great weekend getaway at the gorge

The sit and stay is perfect for a small family great location right off the highway and mid way from town and attractions the hot tub was amazing we enjoyed the wii as well with some of our down time in the evening. I would only recommend adding a space fan or for guests to take one to help circulate the air into the bedroom.

Weekend girls trip

Enjoyed our stay! Loved the hot tub and the cozy feel. Not a fan of the mats in the loft area. Also had an issue with the front door not latching and it was never resolved. Overall would recommend staying.

We had to miss our original stay date due to a winter storm, the host was super accommodating about moving our stay. Everything was very clean and cute. It’s not too far from the nearest little town either. The hot tub was awesome and clean and the fire pit was very nice. There was also a Wii so that was sick!

Relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay, perfect location out of the way for us to enjoy RRG adventures and come back to the cabin and unwind. We really loved that there was a Wii, a hot tub, and a fire pit area! Would recommend some kind of stairs going up to the fire pit area. Would also recommend adding a fan of some sort to the little cubby where the big bed is, we got pretty warm. Western Kentuckian to Eastern Kentuckian- look up the brown paper bag trick for keeping wasps away! We didn’t have an issue at any point but noticed there were several spots on the property that wasps were nesting. Overall an amazing place to stay for our third wedding anniversary trip!

Short

Nice n cozy but 3 tall guys needing to strech out after long days on bikes hitting the trails. Tallest at 6,4. was unconfy with low ceilings. I would think make the bdroom bigger w/ no loft on that end

Good stay but could have been better

The stay was good but could have been better. Best thing about the place is its location to do things. Sleeps 6 but does not have enough plates, cups to accommodate that many. The silver ware is lacking step up from plastic. The metal coffee cups were dilapidated and missing on the inside there was rust. Bees are a huge issue inside and out. Someone needs to take care of the hives. Bees going into the electric box for hot tub. The area above door needs to have wood so you don’t see the insulation. Lots of bugs on the window sills. The paddle fan/light is either on or off no speed control. If it is off you have no other lights to offer. The water in shower is not great, no much pressure to rinse hair and hard to find a happy place to keep it warm on the dial. Could have a light over the sink. The trash can top is broken. Trash outside was full. Had to jump in it to get what we could in it the rest we left next to it. Pizza pan doesn’t not fit in over. The sheet pan goes in one way but to long so the oven door does not close.

Cute little place for a getaway close all the goodies of the RRG!

My fiance and I decided to stay for a weekend (kind of spur of the moment 4 our Xmas gifts & anniversary) and we couldn't have asked for a better place!! The location was super close to everything and the property itself was everything it was supposed to be plus more. While there was only two of us this trip...there was also two lofts with queen size futon mattresses on the floor (very thick and comfy) so if you had the kiddos it would be perfect as well..but it was just as great for only a couple. The lofts are open so if staying with multiple couples be aware that sound privacy wouldn't be exceptional... But for the cause it would be well worth it for some. I really don't have any complaints or criticisms at all!!🙂If I had to give a recommendation the only thing I would mention is the fact that there were ALOT of ladybugs (both alive and dead) However, it's that time of the year and in no way shape or form did that change our perspective of this cute, quaint and quiet little getaway place. A huge plus was the fact that the hot tub was right outside the back door...so for our stay in December with it being cold it was amazing... Would recommend this for anybody! The communication and the check in/out process was super convenient and easy. Highly recommended!! And would happily stay again! 😊🌲⛰️🥾🫶♥️

The place was all we needed except for the fact that the dryer was not drying our clothes after an afternoon of UTV’ing and getting muddy in Red River Gorge. After contacting the host, I was instructed to check the filter to make sure it wasn’t clogged. I found 26 cents and a battery but still didn’t dry our clothes after removing them. Thank goodness there were hangers because we had clothes hanging all over in the hopes that they would dry by the time we left the next morning. The beds were comfortable. I let my hubby have the queen bed and I took the loft bed over the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Just passing through for the night. Not a bad little cabin, follow the host Geo point and you'll be fine. Six people would be quite cramped. Perfect for 2-3 people. Although we did not use it, the fire pit up the hill is a nice feature. Pros: Centrally located near the area attractions. Good local places to eat. Be aware though, they close early and not all restaurants are open every day. Cons: The cabin was clean. However the shower area needs to be recalked desperately. The weeds growing through the porch don't give a very welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent cozy cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was perfect after hiking all day. The washer/dryer combo was very convenient. Kitchen was cute, loved the vintage looking refrigerator. We didn’t use the two upstairs lofts. Checked them out and kids would love them.
