This place is absolutely amazing and one of the best values on VRBO in my opinion. Peaceful property with plenty of stuff nearby to do for fun/food. highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to hideaway! : )
This was my second time staying here. Love this cabin! Lots of amenities to use and the host is very responsive and accommodating. I have brought my cats both times. The AC works great, we use the grill on site. And there’s lots dishes and things to use in the kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a fantastic time! The cabin was clean, spacious and so well-equipped! Private setting in MN woods. Quiet and very comfortable!! Dog friendly which was very important for us! Great place to stay!
Everything was great! It was a perfect setup for my family (parents and kids ages 17, 19, and 21). Everybody had plenty of space and it was just so relaxing for us to get away together and "hang" for a few days.
Thanks for the perfect space for a mini "family reunion" for us all to reconnect before the school year starts again!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Good place to gather with friends or family
A family gathering to celebrate Karen's 80th B'day. a nice place to gather for an Elder party. The weather varied from light rain to muggy hot. No complaints except barking large dogs and description in listing does not accurately describe the property. Lots of parks and museums to visit and take walks. All in all a good time.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked we have stayed at. Everything we needed to prepare good meals was available. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the cabin. Lots of little extra touches provided by the hosts were much appreciated. The host responded very quickly to any questions we had.
Beautiful it’s our second stay and of the places we’ve stayed to solve our fictional murders ( see Hunt-a-Killer online) it’s by far our favorite. We’ll be staying again should we find another dastardly deed that needs solving!!!
My husband and I enjoyed a 7 night stay in this lively home by Kettle River in Hinckley MN. Perfect! Cleanness , kitchen 3 great bedrooms and the tranquility of enjoying the unspoiled woods of Minnesota. We will be back this year!
Lovely views from the overlook. Enjoyed spending time at St. Croix State Park. Our children loved the "pirate ship" aka swing set in the front yard. Trails were muddy, lots of ticks but no mosquitos! (Typical April in MN). Owner very responsive to questions prior to our stay.
Cabin is amazing and fully stocked with everything.
Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Just to make you aware to no fault of the owner that there are a bunch of the neighbors dogs that are on the property constantly. I happen to have 2 small dogs that were with me so it was difficult to be outside.
I stayed here for memorial day weekend with a few friends. It is such a cute cabin! I live in the cities so it is far enough away to feel like you are getting away from the city life. The cabin was extremely spacious and very nice. There is also a nice view from the bluffs and it's less than a five minute walk! The owner was easy to get a hold of if any questions came up, and was super friendly! I had a great experience and will definitely be renting this cabin again in the future!
The property was clean and pictures were accurate. Lighting was a little low for reading. Trail to river was rough and could not see river. So disappointed for the grandkids. Grandkids loved the house and wanted to stay longer. Bedrooms were great and comfortable.
Mikes’s cabin completely surpassed our expectations!
Absolutely beautiful. Location breathtaking!
From the moment we came in, we could smell cleanliness. Everything well organized. We really did leave cabin and had plenty to do in the surrounding bluff and trails.
Thank you Mike.
God bless you!
The Camacho Family
We had a blast at this cabin just outside of hinckley. It was perfect for our family, the size was great, not cramped at all. We spent so much time outside, and it was great for us that it wasn’t right on a lake or river, so we didn’t have to worry about the littles wandering into the water. Just a short drive from plenty of hiking and fishing options. We got to enjoy the outdoor fireplace, the hammock, and even found some ripe blackberries behind the cabin. The highlight for everyone was the neighbor dog, Rambo, who visited two days in a row, was so friendly to our dogs, and so fun and gentle with all the kids. We’d love to come back sometime!
