We loved the layout of the house. We ended up not bringing our dog. The owner answered right away when I called him about the internet. Very comfortable place to stay, as we like to just hang out and cook and grill.

Fantastic stay near Hinckley. We stayed here to participate in a winter race at St. Croix park. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen and extremely comfortable during our winter stay!

Comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located. We usually stay in Two Harbors, but decided to keep our drive shorter this time, Nice to have the option to go further north for a day trip, if we wanted to. Just a couple things in need of attention... the microwave hadn't been cleaned after previous uses. And the DVD control didn't have any batteries in it, so we switched the batteries back and forth between that and TV remote to pop in a couple good movies from the broad collection. *Meant to leave a note regarding both of these, but forgot before we checked out! Sorry. Still enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

We visited in October and had a wonderful experience. The cabin looked exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and our dogs absolutely loved exploring the trails. Excellent stay! Very relaxing property to enjoy whether that be hiking, grilling, or just cozying in and watching movies or playing games. The cabin was beautifully decorated and kitchen stocked with all the utensils and dishware you'd need. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and each bedroom has a closet. Perfect distance to travel for a weekend away from the Cities. Well kept and well appointed cabin with a great kitchen and big dining table accommodating meals and puzzles. Great shower. I appreciated the owners trust that guests are mature adults. A few things things-air fryer, grill and tub drain weren’t clean, but that’s on the cleaning service. Took two fun day trips to Sandstone and Moose Lake, and watched a pair of Trumpeter Swans fly overhead. All in all, peaceful, easy and very reasonably priced for 4 folks.
