About this property
@Anderson / Hallenstein
The owners have owned the property for many years and love holidaying there. The bedroom wing has been remodeled in 2025 to provide five bedrooms with four en-suites.
With beds for 14, you need some space to expand into. The house has two large living rooms as well as an indoor pool and spa area.
The six-person spa is great to soak in after a day's skiing. And only a few minute’s walk down the hill takes you into town for food, drinks, or shopping.
In summer, the pool is amazing. The indoor area traps the heat and you can swim every day. The
pool is not heated, and will be empty for the winter. In winter, the indoor area traps the sun to heat the house during the day. At night you can sit around the fire in one living room, and have the TV going in the other living room.
The house has unlimited free high speed (100Mb/s) fibre internet and WiFi.
We are accepting guest bookings for dates starting from August - allowing plenty of time after the renovation work finishes. We’ve replaced the bedroom photos with artist’s impressions. These will be updated with photos when the furniture is moved back in to the bedrooms.
There are two master bedrooms with king beds, private ensuites, and doors leading into the garden courtyard. One master retains its existing ensuite with flat access shower and large freestanding bath. The second master has a new fully tiled ensuite. The bunkroom shares a Jack & Jill (double basin) washroom and bathroom with the third bedroom. The last bedroom has an ensuite with a shower.
The bunkroom provides a communal sleeping environment designed for sleeping six adults with
queen and king single bunks. Complete with a TV on the wall, the bunkroom is also perfect for
putting your children in one room while four couples can enjoy the other rooms.
Bedding, towels and facecloths are provided, with the beds made up ready for you.
There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer and the pool area provides a large area for drying ski gear.
We hope you enjoy your stay with us!
Please note that there is another dwelling downstairs which is being occupied by long-term tenants.

The house is on the boundary of a residential area and our outdoor areas face residential neighbours. Please respect the residential area by keeping noise levels to a reasonable level, especially between the hours of 8.00 pm to 8.00 am. The local council has granted us resource consent for having visitors to stay with conditions that include:
• "The use of outdoor areas for the upper-level residential unit is prohibited between the hours of 10.00 pm to 7.00 am when this unit is being rented for visitor accommodation purposes, except that a maximum of four (4) people may briefly and quietly use the outdoor areas at any one time during this period for smoking purposes."
• "No amplified sound (music or otherwise) to be played within the outdoor living area between the hours of 8 pm – 8 am."
This does not affect your ability to have a late-night spa or swim. The conservatory is an indoor area and the swimming pool and the spa pool are in the conservatory along with some outdoor seating.
