Have a wonderful Bracebridge family getaway!! This beautiful panabode style cottage on pristine Leech lake is located on a one acre treed Muskoka lot. Guests will enjoy the beautiful outdoor space on the long dock, canoe, small sandy shallow-entry beach, sandy sports court, paddle board, firepit, sauna and other amenities. Main floor of cottage has 3 bedroom with sleeping for 8 then additional sleeping space in loft is fit for kids (low height & mattresses on the floor) and we are told is the “coolest space ever”.

I would highly recommend this cottage. The owners were great to deal with and the property was exactly as described. We brought 4 teens and a 9 year old , so we were a bit nervous . All 7 of us give it a thumbs up.

Short & sweet

My partner & I stayed with some old friends and all of our kids for just a couple of nights. It was better than the pictures… a classic cozy cottage, a bit old school with just enough modern amenities. The wood stove was great, cozy living room, really enjoyed the large harvest style table for meals & playing games. Had an outdoor fire, and some lovely jaunts to the outdoor sauna ! The beds were comfortable. In terms of sleeping quarters, the rooms have minimal separation (ie, our girls slept right above our head in the loft, which is open to the king bedroom) so I recommend staying with good friends/family. Thoroughly enjoyed our time, would love to revisit in the summer, as the lake is right there, and such beautiful surroundings.

Why they chose this property

When shopping for cottages they wanted to be in Muskoka & ideally Bracebridge because they love this town... the loons on the lake made it sound like a tragically hip song & they just knew it was "the one". The lake is large and clear and warm for swimming. It is also full of fish which is very fun for the fishers of the family.

Main floor of cottage has 3 bedroom with sleeping for 8... the additional sleeping space in loft fits 5 kids and we are told is the “coolest space ever”.
