Welcome to Selkirk Oasis!

Just 90 minutes from Toronto and 20 minutes from Port Dover, Selkirk is a charming village set on picturesque Lake Erie.

Escape the city to this peaceful lakefront cottage which gives you private access to Lake Erie; known for fantastic for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming!

You can bask in the sun all day and finish your night under stars with a cozy campfire.

Kayak and Paddle Board are available Victoria Day to Halloween!



Living/ Dining Area

Prepare to relax as soon as you step inside this open concept, 3 bedroom, lakefront cottage!

This open concept space is perfect for family game night, curling up with a nice book or watching your favourite movie!We also have several board games and cards located in the ottoman.

Disney+ and Prime Video are available. HDMI port is accessible and screencast.

This room includes a mini fridge for any extra food (or beverage!) storage.

Wifi/ Work Area

While we don't have a designated office space, our dining table can most certainly do the trick! You will be provided the wifi password at check-in and work in a space that provides beautiful lake views.

Kitchen

Located in the open concept living space, you can prepare your meals while enjoying the beauty of the lakefront property! We provide all the necessary kitchen tools and essentials like pots/pans, serving dishes, cutlery and drinking glasses, we have a full-size electric stove/oven, microwave and fridge.

For coffee lovers, the kitchen is equipped with two coffee makers, a Tassimo and kettle. Additionally, pre-ground coffee, sugar and sweetener is provided.

Primary Suite

Our primary is our favourite spot in the entire home! Located at the back of the cottage, this room offers a comfy queen-size bed, plenty of storage for personal items and a large ceiling fan.

This room features its own double-sliding doors to access the back deck overlooking the lake!

The Bunks

The Bunk beds are located across from the master. It offers a double over double bunk and one twin trundle*. Included in this room, we have a variety of children's toys and books.***

The Guest Suite

Located on the other side of the home, this room has a large bright window with gorgeous lakeview, comfy queen-size bed and large ceiling fan.


Outdoors

This GORGEOUS outdoor living space is completed with an oversized deck, BBQ, dining space and additional patio furniture.

In the front of the property, you will have four parking spaces, two chairs and mini table. Enjoy a quiet cup of coffee while listening to the relaxing sounds of local birds.

The backyard includes a large fire pit, private lake access and large yard to play your favourite outdoor games. Our favourite is bocce and will be available during your stay!

Please bring your own firewood. There are several places close by to purchase if needed. We do have long sticks for s’mores!

From Victoria Day to Halloween, a kayak and inflatable paddle board are available for use.

Guest access

The entire cottage is for you during your stay. Nothing is shared with other guests/tenants/neighbours.

Other things to note:

This property uses a cistern and septic tank for waste management. Only toilet paper and human waste can be flushed down the toilet. A trash bin is provided for feminine hygiene products, wipes, etc.

Correct number of guests must be on the reservation. No additional guests are allowed on the property without written consent from the host or additional fees may apply.

Chilled drinking water is provided during your stay via water cooler located by the dining table.

Fire table and BBQ both run on propane.

Water levels and conditions vary throughout the year, water shoes are recommended.

Bugs can be expected seasonally.

A seasonal Selkirk Provincial Park parking permit is provided April 1st to November 30th. Online reservations are required to guarantee parking availability.

All pets must be disclosed in the reservation or additional fees may apply.

In winter months, we leave a shovel out if needed and have salt. The Laneway is typically plowed within 24 hours of the storm.

The Selkirk Oasis manual will be available upon your arrival, detailing everything you need to know about the cottage.

Bunk Bed Weight Limit : 350lbs per bunk, 250 for trundle

*The twin trundle will only be set up for bookings if requested.
