About this property

A little heavenly peace, cabin No. 2

We are looking forward to your arrival. Here is some information that might come in handy:
Our address is 9670 North Fork Rd.
Polebridge, Montana 59928
You do not have to come through the park to get to A LITTLE PEACE OF HEAVEN. You can come through Columbia Falls. Take Nucleus Road through the little town of Columbia Falls. In about a half a mile you’ll come to a stop sign there take a right. That is 486. Stay on that road until you get to A LITTLE PEACE OF HEAVEN. 486 turns into the North Fork Rd. but there are no signs. You will have about 12 miles of pavement then about 12 miles of gravel. That will take you to the Camas Road which is an entrance to the park but don’t turn there; continue on about another 11 miles you will have a little more gravel and then about 3 miles of pavement, we are on the pavement. You will see our rock sign on the left. The driveway is a half a mile switchback. Park between the lodge and the garage and ring the door bell on the lodge porch. Someone will greet you and show you to your cabin. Cell phones don’t work up on the North Fork, but we do have a landline you may use and give the number to family members who may need to get ahold of you. The number is: 406-888-5090.
If you haven’t gotten your vehicle reservation yet you may want to check this out:

It is a good thing to bring your groceries with you. Kalispell has a Walmart and a Costco, also many nice grocery stores. Columbia Falls and White Fish also have nice grocery stores. If you shop at Super 1 you may want to indulge in a 25 cent kids cone.
You will enjoy the mountain views as you ascend the half mile driveway to "A Little Peace of Heaven" located in Polebridge, Montana on 40 secluded acres on the North Fork Rd.
A remote "off the grid" wild and scenic designated area. The mountains are breath-taking.
this cabin sleeps 7 comfortably. You will be delighted to view the mountains from our benches at Inspiration Point.
In your comfortable cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen, linens, and even a crib upon request.
In the bedroom you have a queen bed and in the loft bedroom two double beds. The living room has a futon that is great quality.
We ask that you bring NO DRUGS, ALCOHOL, OR WEAPONS on this property as we like to keep it a safe and friendly environment for our guests. Also smoking is prohibited.

Perfect!
The cabin was perfect! Very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed! The description and location were spot on accurate, and everything was exactly as we expected. We me some other people who complained that the location they were given on their listing was very misleading as to how far away from the park the property was. Not the case here! We knew exactly how far we were in relation to where we wanted to go, and the property was beautiful - definitely worth the drive! We arrived much later than we expected, and we were met in the drive by

In 1980 we, my husband I and five little children, took our first vacation to the Rocky Mountains. The brave children would go for a ride with my husband in the early morning looking for animals and warming up. The younger ones would sleep in, and i never wanted to get out from under the covers until the sun was shinning on the tent. One morning there was actually ice in the water bucket. July can present some pretty cold nights at high altitudes. Yet our spirits were never dampened. Matter of fact we found our way to the Rockies at least every other summer.
In those days we had a tent and a cook stove but that completed our camping supplies. Latter we got sleeping bags for our Christmas presents.
All through the growing years we camped. After the kids married and had kids of their own we got a popup and motor home to give the babies a warm place to sleep.
Then in 2010 when I got an inheritance it seemed the natural thing to invest in mountain property to leave as an inheritance for my five children and nineteen grandchildren. What a dream this has been and how we all love working in this lovely atmosphere. It hardly seems like work when you get to see the scenery and animals. And it is made all the better because we have such nice guests to come and enjoy it with.
My son, Gary, his wife Cindy and three children run the place but we could not do it without the help of our other children and grandchildren who come every year to help. you will notice the benches, lamp stand and rustic furniture they have made. they thin the trees and put in walkways and even put up and installed our solar panels and the entire system.
We indeed, are very blessed and look forward to sharing these blessing with you.

Why they chose this property

We looked at many areas and properties and in other states as we searched for just the right property to leave as an inheritance for our children. We were looking for spending much less money but when we saw this place our hearts could desire nothing else. We fell instantly in love with it and it has proven to be a great delight to us as we share it with you.

What makes this property unique

The log home is magnificent with its archway to the dining room and it's many porches. The view is breath taking. The location offers a quiet atmosphere away from the crowds, a place where you can come away from the noise and bustle of every day life and be rejuvenated. Coming into nature renews the nervous system and restores harmony to life and this is an excellent
place to have that happen. The cabins are few and not crowded together. Yet the evening bonfire is a wonderful place to get acquainted with others and get their information on their favorite activities.
THIS IS A FAMILY ORIENTATED CAMP GROUND.
NO DRINKING, DRUGS, SMOKING OR FIRE ARMS ARE PERMITTED ON THIS PROPERTY.
This gives it a unique special atmosphere. We desire all of our guests to come and enjoy their precious time together.
