About this property
A little heavenly peace, cabin No. 3
We are looking forward to your arrival. Here is some information that might come in handy: Our address is 9670 North Fork Rd. Polebridge, Montana 59928 You do not have to come through the park to get to A LITTLE PEACE OF HEAVEN. You can come through Columbia Falls. Take Nucleus Road through the little town of Columbia Falls. In about a half a mile you’ll come to a stop sign there take a right. That is 486. Stay on that road until you get to A LITTLE PEACE OF HEAVEN. 486 turns into the North Fork Rd. but there are no signs. You will have about 12 miles of pavement then about 12 miles of gravel. That will take you to the Camas Road which is an entrance to the park but don’t turn there; continue on about another 11 miles you will have a little more gravel and then about 3 miles of pavement, we are on the pavement. You will see our rock sign on the left. The driveway is a half a mile switchback. Park between the lodge and the garage and ring the door bell on the lodge porch. Someone will greet you and show you to your cabin. Cell phones don’t work up on the North Fork, but we do have a landline you may use and give the number to family members who may need to get ahold of you. The number is: 406-888-5090. If you haven’t gotten your vehicle reservation yet you may want to check this out: https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm It is a good thing to bring your groceries with you. Kalispell has a Walmart and a Costco, also many nice grocery stores. Columbia Falls and White Fish also have nice grocery stores. If you shop at Super 1 you may want to indulge in a 25 cent kids cone. This cozy cabin sleeps five. It is spaciously nestled in a semi circle with three other cabins. In the center you will find a fun play area with a volley ball net, horse shoe area, tether ball, bean bag toss game, and other games ; a fire pit, picnic tables and a barbecue. A water hydrant stands close by where you might just happen to see the deer that frequent there. You will enjoy the views from the driveway as you ascend the half mile switch back. A short walk will take you to one of two inspiration points where you will be accommodated with huge benches. Behind the cabins is an old logging trail. In the Lodge home you will find a telephone for your necessities. You are welcome to come in and enjoy the decks or gather in our living room if a rain storm should come. Your cabin has a bedroom upstairs with two queen beds. Your living room has a very comfortable futon. And your kitchen is completely furnished

This was a perfect and clean little cabin for our stay. We very much want to stay again in the future. We enjoyed being in a secluded cabin away from the crowds. Very enjoyable stay!

Thank you so much for coming Naomi. Our place was made for good people like you. Thank you for your nice review.
Good host..couldn’t ask for a better one. Woke up each morning to stunning sunrises over the mountains, see picture. Cabin was clean and accommodating, had everything needed for us. Super close to Polebridge and good hikes like the one we took at Bowman lake (see picture) and Quartz lake. Recommend staying here especially in the fall which is our favorite time to visit.

This cabin is PERFECT. There truly aren’t enough good things I can say about the location, the layout and the owners. You are about 12 miles from one of the entrances to GNP and the view and the amenities of the cabin are more than we could have ever asked for! Book it!

Lisa,
We are thankful to you for such a beautiful review. You are one of those perfectly fit people God sends us, one who appreciates the beauties we have to offer. May God bless you!
We booked this beautiful cabin last minute and we are so glad we did. The drive up the windy road leads you to a group of adorable cabins with a phenomenal view. The owner greeted us and gave us tips about the park. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. We will be back!
Property was beautiful. Cabin was awesome and as described. Check in was easy and the hosts were very communicative before arrival with details and advice on how to get to the property and tips on accessing Glacier. Wish we would have spent more than one night there. Great views, great cabin, great place. Definitely off the grid with no service, gave a great chance to relax in nature.
The cabin was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Gary made himself available upon our arrival to give us important information and suggestions that helped us plan our next few days. If possible, we recommend people use a larger vehicle if staying here for ease going up and down the switchbacks. WiFi was available, but you had to get closer to the main property to use it.

Cabin is very new and was very nice! We met some great other guests and all the kids played together in the common area. The only reason I gave a down one star was the gravel road in but that is not under their control.

Very nice cabins in a quiet secluded area. Perfect for what we wanted.
If your are looking to get away from it all, this is the property (No TV and wifi only at the main check-in)! We originally planned to stay two days but extended our stay and the hosts were gracious enough to extend our stay.Beautiful sunrise on the day we left. Two minor concerns - the path from the main road was pretty bumpy and needs more gravel soon. Second, the marker for the entrance from the road is easy to miss if you are driving fast and it's night time.
