Cute Cottage
Charming place. Just what I expected. Very clean and nicely
decorated. There was some difficulty in reaching the manager before arrival. Overall I would recommend the place.
Loved our stay! We are originally from CA but moved away. We still need our beach fix every year and this little cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was well stocked and clean. The outside areas were beautiful and felt like home. Tucked away from the street, it’s nice and quiet. We will definitely return! Thanks so much!
I loved Laguna Beach. It was our first time visiting. We were celebrating my birthday. The cottage was what I was expecting: quiet, cozy, private and closed to the beach, stores and restaurants. I definitely recommend it. 😃

Charming cottage in a great location.
Charming small cottage in a great location. I could walk from the cottage to downtown Laguna Beach in 10 minutes. It did take me a little longer to walk back uphill.Everything in the cottage was in good working order. Parking is a challenge. Definitely would stay again on my next visit.
This adorable cottage was everything I wanted and needed in a little home away from home. Such a relaxing little fairy tale secret garden tucked away in the beautiful Laguna surroundings. I loved everything about this place, only wish that I were still there. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the stairs getting into the property. Other than that I can't wait to come back. I have so many people wanting to know the details about this place too. Thank you for such a beautiful place to stay. It was the perfect place for my beach getaway.
We always love staying at any of the unique Manzanita Cottages. Neil, who was our contact for our rental, is always so attentive and accommodating every time we rent a cottage. The blue cottage is adorable and very comfortable. Yes, the bathroom is small but when it’s just two of you here for a vacation, it’s workable if you take turns getting ready. The living room, kitchen and bedroom offer plenty of room for two. The kitchen is stocked with basics, coffee, water, some condiments, plates, silverware, etc.... The location is perfect and you are about a 10 minute, if not less, walk to town. If you bring elderly guests or children with you, you might want to drop them off at the back entrance (school district office parking lot) to avoid the steep stairs at the main entrance on Manzanita road. The back entrance also has a code and there are no steps until you get into the garden area, but they are pretty easy to take and they are only a few at a time. The cottage was very clean, as always, and it was so quiet at night and in the early morning. The seating area outside was so peaceful and the gardens are full of pretty flowers. We will be back again!

This cottage is in serious need of paint/upkeep. The bathroom and shower are tiny!
The outdoor/covered old stone staircase leading down to the cottages had really slick, difficult to see mud on one side of it due to the recent rains. This was quite a hazard, especially at night with the very dim lighting.
Though checkout time was 11:00am and our car was still parked in "the blue cottage" space (visible to the housekeeper), she entered our cottage without even knocking around 10:35am intentionally-- her only excuse was that our door was unlocked. It was just rude.
