We had a delightful stay, board games, walks, family movies, caves, fishing, snow ball fights, sleep, tranquility, local food and warm hospitality. Absolutely wonderful stay, we will be back!
Lovely location for families. Rustic style accommodation comfortable and clean. Cold in winter however the fire and electric blankets kept us warm in the evenings. Close enough to Mt Selwyn snow fields, thermal pools and the Yarrangobilly caves. Our family of seven all enjoyed our stay.
Great farm stay, had a quiet and peaceful stay. Ample firewood to keep up cosy and warm. Everything we needed was available. Unfortunately, not the best time for a ski holiday as the snow was disappointing at Mount Selwyn. Thank you, we would recommend to others to stay here.
The farm is nice and located close to places of interest. Short drive to Selwyn. Cute pups on the property. Place was clean, just the kitchen cabinets would need more wipe down inside and out and checking before guests arrive for some unexpected animal droppings around kitchen would be great. Overall good place to stay with your own pets.
We booked a week at the Shearer’s Quarters with 3 teens and 2 dogs. The property is 10 mins from a small town and if you love getting away from it all then you will love it! The owners were responsive and lovely. The accommodation is comfortable but basic. The beds are amazing! We fished, slept, read, swag and communed with nature! If you want a relaxing, remote and simple holiday it’s an ideal place to book!
It was lovely and cosy and very Handy having everything a household requires especially in the kitchen.
Everything else is quite modern, maybe make the bathroom modern too. A dryer would have been nice too.
To top off our snow holiday it would have been perfect if Mother Nature was kind enough to deliver and some snow but either way the accommodation was lovely and scenery superb 👌
Thank you.
Simple accommodation done well. Great sleeping quarters. Kitchen simple but well eqipped. Wood heater and electric blankets kept us warm. Access to Murrumbidgee River for trout fishing. Our dog got on well with all the locals. We will be back!
