Had a great holiday. Host very accommodating. Cute cottage. Interior was very nice. Good A/C. Comfortable beds. Exterior and waterfront needs some TLC. Nice lake shallow entry, small sandy area. Caught some pike.
We had a great time! The cottage was beautiful. Kids loved that the water was right there. Lots of space for the 5 of us.
Owners are nice and answered any questions we had.
Location was good for our day tripping adventures. Great views across the lake with the Fall colours. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good. Wi-fi signal & strength was good.
Great space, bunkie allowed for privacy within our group, fishing was super, nice space for games in the front yard, front deck great for coffee in the am and wine in the pm!

Great stay. The cottage was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the deck the best, watching the bikes, boats, loons and the occasional small plane go by. The big bonus was the new heat pump / AC unit. It was a cool life saver. Would love to return next year if we can find a vacancy. It seems everyone wants to stay there then return for more the following year.

Quaint, pleasant space with a lovely view of Green Lake. Hosts were responsive to needs for more detailed instructions about using the cottage’s facilities and departure requirements. Most essentials provided.

Cottage great. Natural vegetation off dock and in close to shore. Could not swim past waist level. Could not swim past weeds as still shallow and light plus nutrients allow for growth. Great for fishing and ecosystem. We went to pine lake public beach 5 min away to swim which was great.
We had a great time at this little cottage. The check-in process, communication and cleanliness was all seamless. The lawn area was fenced in which was great for our dogs. The kitchen could have been better stocked but was adequate. The lake was weedy and the dock didn’t have a ladder which made swimming less enticing, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hello Stephanie,
We’re glad you enjoyed your stay at our cottage. We regularly bring up our mixed lab who loves to explore the property. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, essential for everyday cooking. Our family recently had our vacation here without issue and would like to know which additional items you thought would be included. As for the lake, we cannot control the water’s environment as it would upset the natural flora. There are a few weeds off the end of the dock which can be avoided in the vast swimming area. The stairs to the lake slope down toward the beach for a gradual water entrance off our beach but we can look at adding additional stairs.
This property was as advertised. Easy to find, nice space for our family of 4. Kids loved the bunkie as an extra room.
Simple amenities, washer and fireplace wete both unusable. Few cleaning details (cobwebs, shower wasnt the cleanest, left garbage by previous renters, no extra garbage bages available.). If interested in booking, the host was very easy to contact and quick to reply. I'd take any thing extra (spices, tea towels, dish cloth, games, pen paper) abookingbhover

Your feedback is appreciated. For guest comfort our fireplace is off during the summer. It emits a lot of heat during our 30+ degree weather making the temperature uncomfortable. The washing machine is not advertised as an amenity as it’s still getting installed. We’ll have this ready for future use. We also pride ourselves on keeping a very clean cottage and our cleaner is excellent. We will look into any additional cleaning requirements thanks!
We had a good time, as always we have. As for the property: neighbor had a construction going on except for Sunday we were leaving anyway. Listing did not mention active lumberyard at the back grinding logs even over the weekend. TV not working as did not gas fireplace. Lump of long black hair in the shower drain. Otherwise decent property. Hwy 118 noisy with traffic on Thursday and Friday, noisier than our Barrie subdivision. But nice dock and road great for biking, Haliburton village just 15 min away. Cost of cleaning and processing should be included in the nightly rate in my opinion. First time we rented a cottage and learned out lesson what to expect.

It is unfortunate to hear that you could not work the tv or fireplace. The instructions for both are listed in our welcome guide. If we had known about this during your stay we would have liked to assist. Additionally, our rates are competitive and affordably priced compared with other similar properties in the area. We offer an entire cottage, bunkie and waterfront with beach for your use. We spent a few weeks there this summer with family and enjoyed the peaceful breeze and sound of the water along the shoreline!
Amazing family weekend away. Owners were so accomodating and easy to reach when we were having trouble ( our fault) getting into the cottage. Cottage was clean and cozy. The only thing is we did not know what to do with our garbage and recycling and had to just bag it up and leave it on the deck. Will definetely rent again.
