Multi family gathering for mountain biking, big meals and enjoying the NEK was a great success! The house has ample space, a gorgeous view and great access to trails and town.

Great Kingdom trails experience
Great house. Well stoked. Nicely furnished. Great location. Easy check in. Looking forward to a return visit.
We stayed here with 4 of our children, their spouses and 3 grandchildren. It was the perfect spot to relax, walk the trails, enjoy the small town, and spend time together.

Amazing Home and Location
Garrison house is our favorite rental in the area! The house is so spacious and comfortable. It always feels like our home away from home. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the game room is perfect for kids of all ages and the property itself is just gorgeous. Great location with proximity to town and trails right outside the door. I’d give it ten stars if that was an option!
Ideal for large groups, with comfortable beds for 20 or more. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after long hikes, and the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen had enough dishes and utensils for all of us. Not enough tables and chairs in the dining room, but we made do by bringing folding card tables and using folding chairs stored in the basement.
Great place for a family gathering! Unfortunately, it was for a funeral. This was so much better than any hotel that we could have stayed at, which there are not many in St. J area.

Would recommend...
Exceptionally clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The kitchen was the neatest and most well-organized of any property I have ever rented, which has been quite a few. This property was excellent for our group of skiers.

Perfect spot
We had an amazing stay at the Garrison House. The host was extremely responsive and the home was well-equipped for our group. Loved the big dining table and the beautiful kitchen! The wood stove kept us cozy in the cold weather. We'll be back!
The house was just perfect, in a perfect location with a beautiful scenery. Nicole (host) was always on top of everything and readily available to help. We had a small issue with the heater but the owner reacted even before we noticed and resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes.

Perfect
The house was perfect for our extended stay for our Son's wedding at the Tempson Barn. Plenty of room for our family of 16. House was clean, bed were comfortable, and listing was accurate. I would highly recommend this house.
House was awesome for our group. Ride in and ride out was super convenient, view was incredible, plenty of space to store bikes in the garage. We had a great time MTBing and the house added to the good time, thanks!
We stayed here for an annual reunion with friends and our families. The house was spotless, we each had our own room and bathroom, and the property manager Jill was friendly and flexible about letting us checkout a little later. The kitchen was well stocked and many games of PacMan and ping pong were played in the game room. It's conveniently located to Burke Mountain and worked really well for our group.

Great Location for a Gathering of Friends
The separate rooms all with their own bathrooms was perfect for our shared vacation with many adults. Everyone had their own space, and the common areas are big enough for gathering all together. We were there between seasons, but we still took advantage of the trails right from the house. Everyone was especially pleased with the quality of the kitchen, and the views are great. I'd love to find a reason to go back.

Perfect!
We had a wonderful stay at the Garrison House. The location is amazing- right on the Kingdom Trails, but close enough to town should you need anything. House was super clean, and kitchen very well-appointed. Rooms are spacious, and there are plenty of spots to relax. Wood stove kept things extra cozy. Loved the game room with ping pong and foosball! We will definitely be back.
This house was perfect for our extended family of 16 to stay when our son got married at the Tempson Barn. Everyone had their own space to get ready, and plenty of room for us all to spread out when others in town stopped by to visit throughout our 3 day stay. The listing was accurate, the house was very clean, and we had everything we needed. The property manager was helpful and available when we had questions. I would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful place to stay in Vermont!
If you need a large, spacious, comfortable place for a large group of people ( in our case it was three generations of one family aged 3 years old to 71 years old ), this is the place to stay. There are six spacious bedrooms with en-suite baths and a smaller bedroom with a bath next to it. The house has a large comfortable well-supplied kitchen, large dining room, living room and a playroom with a ping pong table and a foosball table. There are varied board games, books, puzzles and one TV (hardly used by us as there was so much to do). The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi functioned perfectly for those doing remote work. The house has a large property, hiking trails and a river are close by. Burke Mountain is only 7 minutes away, the skating rink and a bowling alley (for rainy days) were 20 minutes away. We found it to be perfect for us and will likely return in the future.
My extended family of 16 had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving together at the Garrison House. Spaces were large enough to accommodate all of us and the grounds were perfect for flag football games and after dinner chats around the fire pit. We took many walks on the trails connecting to the property and appreciated the short walk to the village for groceries, coffee, and restaurants. A lovely place!
This place ROCKS — I have never stayed somewhere so immaculate, well-stocked, and well-equipped for guests. 21 of us slept there incredibly comfortably with no more than 2 people to a bed, definitely could have come with more. The owners had a little goodie basket and "how-to" guide for the property and area, with activities, restaurants, and suggestions for things to do. The house itself was incredibly clean and situated with a beautiful big backyard with a view of the mountains. Some neighbors around but definitely had a ton of privacy, could make a lot of noise without worries about upsetting anyone. Firepit under the stars with an absolutely stunning night sky. Overall, hands down the single best stay I've ever had at a house rental!! 10/10 recommend!!
Great property to stay with family and friends and the view is awesome.

Home away from home
The Garrison was our away from home mountain biking retreat this summer. Beautifully decorated with lots of space to relax in after a long day of riding the Kingdom Trail system surrounding this house. Each room has its own bathroom with shower…so nice not having to share a bathroom or two with everyone in your party. The 2 younger ones enjoyed playing in the recreation room. Plenty of space to create your meals in the kitchen if so desired. We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit at night, swapping favorite mountain biking moments encountered during that day of riding.. There’s plenty of parking for house guests and a nice barn to store your bikes/gear. The house is close to downtown and trails.
Our party is honored to be the first visitor/guests at The Garrison of Burke Hollow this July 2022. For those who follow……..enjoy. Truly a home away from home.
