The living room, with vaulted ceiling, wood burning stone fireplace and comfortable furnishings, is perfect for curling up with a book or pulling out the puzzles and games to play with the kids. Or enjoy one of the provided DVD movies on the television.

Spent three nights enjoying the peace of Packwood while enjoying the splendor of Ranier during the days. Property is nicely hidden and off the beaten path. House could have been cleaner and better organized, yet felt perfect for our time there. Enjoyed dinners on the deck from the grill. Kitchen had all we needed.
The cabin was a great get-away to explore Mt Rainier National Park. It had the essentials and was a cosy place to relax at the end of the day. Easy access to Packwood and the park made it a great location. Check-in was simple and seamless, but check out instructions were missing. Although fires are (rightly) banned, some additional maintenance of the outdoor space like weeding the fire area would make it an even better experience.
Snowshoeing, fires, walks in the snow storm, board games, music, lovely time at a lovely property. The cabin was well appointed and matched photos. High recommend!
Amazing location, secluded, wildlife around but still less than 10 mins to town. Had a great time especially lounging on the deck with the dog . Plenty of space for adults to chat while teens did their own thing .. And there is a phone signal at the cabin!
We enjoyed our stay in this charming home. Our family which includes 5 teenagers enjoyed the forced family time. :) We had lots of fun playing board games together at the big table in the evenings after busy days of skiing. The host was responsive and helpful with our questions and we had a wonderful time.
We had an amazing time at Elk Meadows. The cabin design, furnishings, art exceeded our expectations. The deck area, the firepit, the wood stove were excellent to use. The location was very private, access to the town was convenient, the town itself is fun and proximity to White Pass is convenient. Highway 12 is quite a scenic drive! For my family, getting approval to bring our well-behaved dog sealed the deal.
My family loved the place as soon as we arrived!! We had a good time there and to be honest, my kids didn't want to leave!!! We vacated the property at before 11am.. but stayed outside to play with the horseshoe till the cleaner arrived :P we were quite embarrassed but it showed how much we loved the place!

The cabin is very private and secluded though, you can clearly hear the highway traffic. Later in the evening, once traffic died down, we heard owls, elk and other creations. We also had elk walk thru the property in the morning. The location is perfect for visiting Mt. Rainer and the national forest.
We visited Mount Rainier with our daughter for her 18th bday/graduation present. This cozy home was located only 15 minutes from the park entrance so it was very convenient for our stay! The house was spacious with wonderfully hot water that never ran out (which felt great after our long hikes!) and gorgeous views from the front porch. There is a nice stream just down a little path on the property that was nice to sit by. The house was well stocked with all the items we needed during our stay.
This property has it all. They have thought of everything. It is secluded down a little road so you feel that you are in the middle of nowhere. So close to Mt. Ranier and Mt. St. Helen’s. We just had a delightful time. Rather than going out to dinner on our second night, we bought NY Strips and had them on the grill. I would come back here in a heartbeat. The check in- out process was seamless. One of THE BEST VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at.
Property was not clean upon arrival and communication was sloppy and very poor.It is a cute property but was not ready for us and needs a deep cleaning and upkeep.
