About this property
Comfortable and charismatic large 5 Bed family home
This is a jointly owned holiday home that we use regularly with our families and is fully equipped and furnished with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay with friends, family or just with your loved one.
Sprawling garden with multiple entertaining areas to keep you entertained/relaxed or go and enjoy the great sites located so close by.
Located in Australind (a hidden gem), just 10 minutes’ drive from Bunbury. Our tranquil holiday home is within walking distance to the Collie River, Barnes Road boat ramp surrounded by the Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park.
When you are not relaxing by the pool or fireplace then get out and explore the local highlights, such as:
+ Koombana Bay Foreshore; A large white sandy beach to relax, huge playground for the kids and a couple of café options including the Hello Summer Beach Kiosk and one inside the Dolphin Discovery Centre.
+ Dolphin Discovery Centre; One of few places in the world where you can enjoy a magical encounter with wild dolphins by choosing to join a swim tour, a wildlife cruise or a ‘meet and greet’ in the dolphin interaction zone at the shoreline.
+ Buffaloo Beach; 4wd access onto the beach/sand dunes or you can park in the car park. Wavy beach at times with some great beach fishing.
+ Various other beaches to explore include: Turkey Point, The Cut, Mindalong Beach and San Marco Promenade Park (great for sunsets!).
+ Leschenault Leisure Centre - indoor swimming pools including whirlpool, basketball courts, tennis courts for hire.
+ Shopping centres; Eaton Fair, Treendale Shopping Centre, Bunbury Centrepoint, Spud Shed (Australind – Open 24 Hours) and the Bunbury Farmers Markets
+ Old Coast Brewery, Myalup; good food, beers and playground for the kids and Australian themed mini golf.
+ Crooked Carrot Cafe, Myalup; great food & kids playground. Check out the old tractors and huge rope climbing wall.
+ Ferguson Valley Wine Region (17-minute drive) and of course Gnomesville.
+ Town of Collie (less than 40-minute drive) has some amazing swimming holes including; Honeymoon Pool in the Wellington Forest, Lake Stockton, Black Diamond and Minninup Pool (Collie River).
Need some more inspiration on what to see or do? Feel free to ask or take a look at the WA Visitors Centre(s) website for Bunbury, Collie, Donnybrook, Ferguson Valley and/or Harvey.
There is so much fun to be had, you'll need to stay more than once.
