The place was lovely with a great clean hot tub. Didn’t know it was located at a campsite but otherwise great experience would stay again!

Thanks for your kind words—we’re glad you enjoyed the hot tub and had a great stay!
We do try to note in the listing that A Perfect Hideaway is located within Five Pines Campground, but we understand that detail can sometimes be easy to miss when booking. We appreciate the feedback and will keep looking for ways to make that even clearer for future guests.
Hope to have you back again soon!
The service we received from OhioPyle Vacation rentals was excellent - good information both by email and in the notebook provided. It was missing information about the state park that would have been helpful. The condition of the property was very disappointing: first it appears this was a double wide trailer which was not disclosed in the information. The improvements needed were many, including: peeling pain air vents needed replaced, Inside the kitchen cupboards the shelf paper was VERY old and torn and gave the appearance of being unclean; The kitchen drawers did not work well; the pots and pans were missing and/or mismatched lids, some baking pans were rusted, all the beed board at the base of the baseboards throughout; the "campground" location had a run down appearance; the stovetop burner pans were worn and rusty; the uneven floor throughout indicate a sinking foundation; there were no extra lamps for reading near the living room seating; also no end tables; the kitchen stove hood was rusted; the towel holder in the bathroom was rusty; there were no hooks or bars in the bathroom for damp/wet towels; Missing in the kitchen: coffee filters, salt and instructions for the coffee maker.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments.
Loved the location as it was out of the way , but close to everything! Clean , wildlife all around . I have a bad back and the master bed was a bit soft for me .
The location and cabin were great. Our only suggestions are first, to have better wayfinding when entering the property, it was confusing to get to the parking area, specially at night and second, to have some hanging lights or something else on the back where the hot tub is, its very dark at night.

A little dated but perfectly comfortable. Some of the flooring was sketchy... sinks when stepped on. A few doors were sinking off honges and needed lifting to close. Enjoyed the crystal clean hot tub, the Keurig, the comfy beds, the instant hot showers
The cabin was easy to find based on the directions given and photos of the cabin. It was very clean inside and pretty spacious in the main bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The firepit was very nice and so was the hot tub. Overall perfect for what we needed. The price for one night was a little steep for a cabin in a remote area in my opinion even though everything was great, that is the only reason for four stars instead of five!
My girlfriend and I simply loved staying here. It's the kind of place you wish that you lived in full-time. Being able to use a hot tub any time of the day is a true luxury! The sheer privacy and beauty of the natural surroundings is unmatched. The cabin is actually a very nicely rennovated mobile home with all of the conveniences this entails: laundry room, full kitchen, extremely cozy living room, a master bedroom and a small second bedroom with twin bed. I would 100% stay here again or even move in and have a whole change in lifestyle!

This is a nice place. We enjoyed using the hot tub and making cookies in the kitchen’s oven every night(: the internet was fast, and just a short drive to Ohiopyle. Beautiful stars at night. We only stayed in the King bed, but it was very comfortable.

Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and your time in the mountains. We forgive you for not bringing us some cookies!
Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. No complaints on our end; just wanted to mention the situation for others. Hot Tub was fantastic; crystal clear and clean! Quick communication response from our host, and we even requested late check out to spend more time there! We enjoyed our stay and recommend to others!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was very clean and had nice furniture. My only complaint was that I wish there was some kind of railing for the front steps and maybe some kind of screen door for the side door that leads out to the hot tub. Everything else was really nice though and I would stay here again.
enjoyed walking around the property, the outdoor spaces! the hot tub was clean and worked great. Didn't feel comfortable doing much cooking due to obvious evidence of mice on the kitchen counters
We loved our stay at this cabin! Communication with the host was great! It was all very clean, including the hot tub! The only suggestions would be another comfy couch and some extra throw blankets. We loved the area and it was the perfect amount of tucked away in the woods.
